Le Labo is making their city-exclusive fragrance Gaiac 10, normally sold only in Tokyo, widely available for a limited time to benefit the Japanese Red Cross:
Gaiac 10, our Tokyo city exclusive perfume, will exceptionally be available in our NY, LA, London, and internet stores until May 15th, 2011. All profits will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society to support their earthquake disaster efforts. Gaïac is a very hard greenish wood that isn’t as dry as cedar and that is subtle, profound, and stable. Le Labo’s GAIAC 10, a perfume extract that has been developed in partnership with perfumer Annick Menardo, is a tense formula built on gaïac wood and surrounded by muscs (4 different types in all), with hints of cedar and olibanum (incense).
50 ml is $250, 100 ml is $400. (via press release)
Very cool! Thanks Robin.
It’s a great scent, wish I could afford a bottle.
Yea, me too.
I wonder if they do anything special with the bottle…the notes sounds interesting 🙂
I don’t think they repackaged it…
It would have been nice if they offered a 25ml, say, for those who like the perfume and want to support the cause but just can’t manage $200…
