That honestly has to be the worst design bottle ever made.
They’ve been using variations of it since 1997, so I’d guess they’d disagree with you! I admit the first time I saw it, I could not figure out how to spray it, LOL…
It looks like a pain reliever capsule…. and how DO you spray it? Laying on it’s side…that’s like an outer container? and maybe one of the pink ends pops off to reveal a spritz mechanism?
Good lord, why do they like to confuse me so early in the morning?
please…someone bring me coffee……thunk! *the sound my head makes on the desk because no one brought me any coffee…*
*passes coffee to Daisy*
They look like vitamins to me *shrugs* I wouldn’t have a clue how to apply this!
IIRC, and who knows if I do, it’s like 2 separate bottles connected in the middle.
My 1st boyfriend who was anosmic got me the original 212 for my birthday. I opened it up, looked at this block of acrylic ice, and thought it was some kind of ornament with some kind of pink tube in the middle! He showed me that the block of ‘ice’ turned open and that there were 2 small bottles in it that could be detached. The novel design and then the pretty scent really made it a great, and memorable, present. I liked it back then – only it had little to no lasting power on my skin.
Apparently the SA had recommended it
Oh, thank you. That confirms my memory of how the bottle works.
I really hate bottles that won’t stand up on their own. (Angel, are you listening?). For a marginal set of notes in this fragrance, it would squelch my lemming. No only is it flat-surface-unfriendly, the pain reliever capusule is really ugly.
I like some of them — DK Black Cashmere, for instance.
That bottle that CdG uses for a lot of scents is nice, too. Love the Black Cashmere pebble. I would have to see this in person before passing judgment.
It doesn’t look cosmopolitan to me. It look like something for 12 yr. old’s. It’s a vitamin, it’s a soda, hey it’s a chill pill.
True. The original 212 was/is a soft satin pink, not inelegant and quite striking encased in its acrylic block of ice. The hot pink, with the green ‘212 pop!’ is more street hip for tweens than sophisticated! The colour, the word ‘pop’ and the exclamation.
