Jil Sander will launch Sun Eau de Soleil, a new limited edition fragrance for women, in April. Sun Eau de Soleil is a flanker to 1989's Jil Sander Sun, and promises to be bright, sunny and fresh.
Sun Eau de Soleil was developed by perfumer Nathalie Lorson; the notes include bergamot, lemon zest, pink grapefruit, nutmeg and woods.
Jil Sander Sun Eau de Soleil will be available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (via cosmoty.de)
I am so excited about this news. Thanks for sharing it. Sun was my signature scent in high school and college.
Oh, how fun! Have you tried any of the other Sun flankers? I have not.
Sounds better than Lady Gaga’s newset offering!!!
So far, it does!
I’m with you Tara. I wonder if her follow-up scent will be Eau de Carion, in honor of that dress.
Snark-a licious!
I was thinking Sun had been D/C but maybe not. Love it on a hot summer day so may have to see if I can find this flanker!
Thanks for the sharing. I also used to have a big bottle of Sun, when I went to college. But as I smelled it a few time ago, I didn’t like it that much anymore. I remembered it was mor vanillic then, now I smelled more citrus (something like citrus towels for your hands). Maybe it is a reformulation or I have a bad memory 😀 I will certainly give it a try when it comes around here.
This scent sounds interesting and refreshing. I love nutmeg. For fresh notes; Grapefruit’s a good one.
I’m not familiar with Sun, but this sounds like a nice summer scent.
