Knows Perfume in Seattle will be holding a series of "Perfume 101" classes:

These informal and fun classes will explore the history, artistry and tricks of the perfume trade. Attendees will learn how the world of modern perfumery has evolved; the difference between top, middle and bottom notes; what gives perfume it’s staying power; and who’s who in the world of perfume. The cost of the class is $15, $10 of which can be applied towards a purchase made that night only. Perfume 101 will be an ongoing series at knows, covering a variety of topics.
