Love it when they name a scent after a note and then don’t even bother to list the note in the list of notes.

Maybe we’re supposed to assume that part, but still.

Agree! In general, seems like Molinard’s descriptions are usually very short. Have a feeling that means they don’t put much effort into their press releases.

Mmm! Sounds good! I would like to just roll around in amber, sandalwood, and vanilla. Time for coffee.

I recently picked up a bottle of Molinard Vanille for a song and I’m very happy with it (it was purchased for layering purposes, and smells exactly like it should, what more could you ask for?). My interest in odd patchouli scents is growing, but this one may not quite fit the bill.

It doesn’t sound odd to me, but the description is too short to even guess.

I’d love to explore more of this house, but it seems like everything I want to try isn’t available here, and my bottle of Tendre Friandise was rather steep when one adds shipping. 🙁

Maybe this will be picked up over here on this side of the pond as it sounds nice. I love well done patch perfumes.

I sort of gave up — I never did like any of the modern scents but Tendre Friandise, and yes, that has gotten too hard to obtain here.

orange , amber, vanilla, sandalwood –that all practically has me salivating….but isn’t there Patchouli in the mix somewhere?

I was able to order directly from Molinard in France, and it was fast and very pleasant. If I had to “escape to Mars for tax reasons”, quite possibly, I’d take their Habanita with me. It’s just so terrific and unique. Vetiver and vanilla but much more than the sum of the two. They sell a mini that is to die for, a tiny black bottle with the bas relief woman and long hair. It’s the best bang for your buck perfume out there, IMHO.
