"There was a strong scent of air fresheners detected by the CBSA officer. It was one of the factors that led to the secondary inspection," RCMP media spokesman Const. — Further search of the cab revealed 37 bricks of cocaine. Read more at Too many air fresheners led to discovery of cocaine worth $1.5 million at The Vancouver Sun.
I couldn’t help but think “wouldn’t their faces be red if the guy was just extra gassy!”
13 air fresheners does seem a little suspicious. A smart criminal would have applied a LOT of strong fragrance to himself….then the officers would have been thinking “gah! Dude, a little lighter hand on the cologne…what is that? Mandom?” and he would have gotten away with it…
Ha, ha, if the police start profiling heavily scented cars, you are in trouble, Daisy!
