The late Margaux Hemingway for Fabergé Babe. In 1975 when she signed to be the face of the fragrance, her million dollar contract was the largest ever awarded to a model.

I remember this well and I wore the fragrance. So tragic how this beautiful woman ended up.
I totally agree, so promising yet so sad. On top of it all, I really miss my “Babe”…
She was beyond gorgeous…actually did not think she looked as beautiful here as she sometimes did. And I am sure I had a bottle of Babe!
Yes. MH’s look was like the epitome of a 1970’s model. I was a little girl back then and I thought she was just so damn glamorous. She was part of that Studio 54 crowd and did you ever see the movie she did with little sister Mariel and Susan Sarandon’s ex Chris called Lipstick?
Margaux was gorgeous but yikes! her head was going to KLUNK right into that pier. And the male model wasn’t going to be of any help.
It’s true!
I thought the same thing!
Me too! I think there is actually 2 commercials for Babe. Try YouTube.
you just KNOW that their butts were soaked throughout the shoot lol
I’m sure. And for a cool million, she probably didn’t mind a bit đ
Her sister Mariel apparently has an eponymous perfume. Has anyone tried it?
I haven’t — I didn’t even know they still made it!
It was sold @ H2O Plus about 10 years ago, it was an oceanic floral ala the feminine Acqua di Gio.
As a 1970’s affecionado; Thanks for the blast from the past Robin! I remember the commercial well. I received this as my first gifted scent for X-mas 1976. I thought I was such a sophisticate! A good trip down memory lane.
