Bath & Body Works Secret Wonderland ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 25 October 2010 11 Comments

Bath & Body Works Secret Wonderland fragrance

Bath & Body Works has launched Secret Wonderland, a new fragrance for women. Secret Wonderland is reportedly similar to their limited edition perfume Moonlight Magic, which was released earlier this year.

Master perfumers have blended luscious strawberry and frosted jasmine petals with magical notes of white amber and creamy sandalwood to create this whimsical fragrance inspired by a world you never dreamed existed.

Additional notes include wild goji berries, raspberry, gardenia, peach, coconut musk and vanilla.

Bath & Body Works Secret Wonderland is $29.50 for 75 ml Eau de Toilette; matching bath & body products are also available. (via bathandbodyworks)

We were at B&BW last weekend and my teenager was ALL over this. I didn’t really pay attention to it enough to say anything beyond it didn’t smell horrible, in passing.

It’s glowing testimony from my teenager! She bought both the lotion and the body spray. I’ll smell it later. 😉

Does she like it? It seems geared toward young ladies.

She does. I… do not. My first impression holds. It isn’t awful, just fruity and sweet like so much of their stuff… like caramel sauce over indistinguishable fruit. It definitely smells “young”.

I tried this last week (I’m middle-aged but immature) and may just have been in a bad place, but I disliked it. Very plasticky, I thought, and too strong. I likea number of BBW things, but this was Not One.

Thanks! IIRC, I did not like Moonlight Magic anyway.

Was Moonlight Magic anything like Moonlight Path? I love MP. The Secret Wonderland bottle looks pretty.

I’m afraid I have no idea, although it sure doesn’t sound anything like MP.

I received the Secret Wonderland fragrance mist, the lotion, the shower gel, and all of it was amazing. My sister is hooked on it too ever since I got it. I love it! I am also a teenager, and this product is definitely something I recommend to my friends! 😀
