Very curious about that Sex Pistols, only if to see if it lives up to that Lucky Scent description.

It sounds interesting to me, but gawd, that bottle is awful. It looks like something sold at the dollar store. (I was going to say Hot Topic, but my point was to emphasize cheapness.)

Don’t know why I’m not more curious. I do think it’s notable that ELdO did not put their name on the bottle and does not sell this on their website — in France it’s only at Sephora, so far as I know.

The Lucky Scent description reads (in part):
“…. there’s a revolution in this bottle. It’s in the fresh, restless bite of lemon, sharpened and intensified by a defiant black pepper. It’s in the unruly turbulence of a prune and an in-your-face ambrette. Electrified by aldehydes, you can feel the pure energy, pared down and pumped up by leather, shot through with heliotrope and brought back down to earth by a raunchy patchouli. To wear this scent, you must resist tradition, …”
So we have citrus, prune, ambrette, leather, aldehydes, floral and patchouli. Interesting, but not what I would call revolutionary.

I personally identify with the unruly turbulence of a prune.

Thanks, Lemonprint, now you’ve got everyone at work staring at me and wondering why I’m sitting at my computer snickering.

Laughing so hard about the turbulance- causing prune comment that I switched from Kleenex to Bounty!

I do love Luckyscent. Even their kitchsy descriptions.

They’ve got some good people writing for them. :) There are a few descriptions that actually sold me on something I would have otherwise turned my nose up at.
