Concept bottles, unfortunately, but I would buy one in a heartbeat. From the Polish design firm Ah&Oh (and there are some wonderful closeups at their website) found via The Essence of an Author…Contained in a Perfume Bottle at Design Taxi. Shown are the bottles for George Orwell, Edgar Allan Poe and Marquis de Sade; there is also a bottle for Pierre Choderlos de Laclos.

These are fantastic bottles! Even if they were real scents and I didn’t like them, they are cool enough just to have as interesting art around the house.
Ditto. And I want to see the series expanded!
SO exciting. I would want those.
Yep.
I’ll take an Orwell and a Poe (“horrible sanity” indeed). Thanks for posting these, they’re really awesome.
Would be great fun to buy them empty and decide which perfume fit the bottle….
Poes should really be a Raven.
I would like to have them all ………………
Very interesting bottles- great collector pieces 🙂
Is Sade’s supposed to be a blowup doll??? lol
That is exactly what I thought when I saw it! The pigtails are a bit disturbing – but then again, that is the point.
So disappointed these aren’t actually for sale . . . not that I had the $$$ to go chasing them down . . .
No, thank you! 😉
They should hook-up with Histoires de Parfum. Theya already have a de Sade scent.
Did anyone else see these and think of 2010’s Prix Eau Faux? I thought of Mary Shelly’s Divine Discharge and Nietzsche’s Ecce Homo entries. This year’s contest was so fantastic. . .and these bottles made me think of those imaginary perfumes. . .
These are just fantastic! I would buy these if they existed, particularly Poe and deSade, though I do agree that Poe should possibly be a raven. More, please!
I think this is the first time I have ever wanted to buy a bottle just because I love it. I must somehow obtain Orwell, Poe, and Laclos if these EVER become commercially available. (The de Sade bottle leaves me a bit cold, imo.) I think I have just taken the first steps to becoming a bottle whore.
Waaaaaannnnnnnttttt
