I’m excited, too, but my credit card is quivering in fear. You’d think that I abused it or something.

Really. It’s not like it has to do any of the work. I have the numbers memorized. It just has to sit in my wallet and look pretty.

So if there a way to order samples?? I couldn’t find anything, but maybe I’m blind.

“Is there a way to order samples,” not “if.” :(

The selection available actually paralyzes me. Ava Luxe and DSH, I can’t pull the trigger on an order, ever. And that is NOT generally the problem I have [she says, as credit card weeps, looks helplessly at Daisy’s and Kitty’s cards for support…]. For instance, I could take advantage of that Cinq Mondes FGWP any minute now!

Yeah, I haven’t tried any of the DSH’s for that exact reason. Too much to choose from. With Ava Luxe I was just going to break it down to a representative from the chypre, floral, and woods families, and go from there. But if I can’t order samples, I don’t know that I’ll order anything unsniffed. Because that would be BAD.

The Cinq Mondes is very tempting, but don’t need $150 of anything right now.

I’m so glad I was able to get samples from Serena YEARS ago when she had them available.

I guess TPC has them, though I’m afraid to check their prices.

I have a few that I love, and many I’d be interested in buying. Stargazer, Citrine, Royal Parvati… and I can finally get my mom her beloved Sweet Patchouli edp for Xmas again. :D

I’m surprised by how affordable her stuff is. I thought it was more expensive, for some reason. I’ll have to look at TPC– might make more sense to make one blind buy of a full bottle… or two… or… whatever.

          The prices really aren’t bad.

The samples at TPC were mostly $3 for a 1 ml vial. (There were a few I saw that were $3.50 1/2 ml. Didn’t pay attention to any differences in formulation, so I don’t know if that’s what influenced the price.) I never buy samples anymore, so it’s a hard sell for me. I guess those aren’t terrible prices, though.

Daisy, I have something like 20 bottles of Ava Luxe perfumes, and I’ve sampled more, so ask anything – I may be able to answer. For what it’s worth, I think she does woods really well. I love her Bois Exotique and Bois de Figue.
