Remember the "print and sniff" ad banner I posted about yesterday? Here's the video. The scent, by the way, is Kaiak by Natura, which is apparently one of the best-selling fragrances for men in Brazil.
Update: video no longer available, sorry!

Awesome!
Given the fact that sometimes MILLIONS of dollars are spent in really not ingenious or creative ads (anyone wants another get-the-perfume-and-you´ll-get-the-car-Girl-Boy-whatever, anyone?? no?)
This is a really cool way to do it.
At the same time, it is done in Brasil, which has lots of creative people and a very positive attitude. I believe that an initiative like this would have been vetoed in any corporate boardroom in the US or EU and dismissed as nonsense. But perhaps I a being prejudiced??? I know you let me know if you think so hehehehehe
On the one hand, it’s very cool! On the other, it’s very labor-intensive given that you’ve got to install a box on each computer, and each only holds 50 strips. If you’re really trying to get your message across, have to wonder if you wouldn’t do just as well to hire people to hand out the strips on the street? But I’m speaking for the US, where yes, I think this would get vetoed right away just on the grounds that internet cafes reach so few people…they are not a big thing here. Now if you could have that strip come out of everyone’s cell phone! That would be a big deal.
It looks like they have only spent money on the ads, because the scent is just another fresh sport scent of no particular interest. There was a point that they were creative with fragrances, but today, all of them smell like a derivative juice of something already done internationally in a derivative way. Pointless, boring.
Now that I see how this is done I am that much closer to the nacho-printer.
LOL…true. But then, now you also know that it’d be just as easy to eat the nachos from the bag!
I hate Kaiak. This bad ass smell is everywhere here in Brazil. And it’s even original, it’s a copy of an old scent by Chopard, Heaven.
Hi Rick. I agree on kaiak, but I rather like humor America .
Also what do you think of o boticario’s vetiver brasil and classic. I like both…
I find it so refreshing to see a scent promoted as “quite a cheap and accessible product.” To bad it doesn’t smell fabulous! Great ad, though.
