Grès has launched two new limited edition flankers to 2005’s Caline fragrance for women: Caline Blooming Moments and Caline Tender Moments.

Caline Blooming Moments ~ developed by perfumers Thomas Fontaine and Henri Bergia; "The fragrance pairs generous, soft summer fruit and intense flower essences to create an opulent dream, which modern young women will gladly embrace." The fruity floral fragrance includes notes of mandarin, pear, apple, red pepper, grapefruit, lemon, water jasmine, peach, cyclamen, freesias, geraniums, iris root, raspberry, benzoin, soft musk, patchouli and tree moss.

Caline Tender Moments ~ developed by perfumers Emilie Bouge and Irene Farmachidi; "Caline Tender Moments by Parfums Grès speaks the tender language of spring: the fragrance reflects the special atmosphere created by the sudden awakening of spring: when the first warm rays touch people’s souls and delicate flower buds open for the first time, completely abandoning themselves to the magic of the season." The soft floral features notes of lychee, grapefruit, pink pepper, blackberry, lily of the valley, water jasmine, freesia, white cedar, sandalwood, musk and vanilla.

Grès Caline Blooming Moments and Caline Tender Moments are available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette. (via parfumsgres)

Blooming moments—raspberry—death knell. Not that I wouldn’t mind “embracing an opulent dream” even though I’m not that young…..Tender Moments sounds a little more more workable (warms rays of spring(?) can touch my soul —it’s got to be better than the biting winter wind we have here 17 months out of the year) but then there’s that grapefruit and that’s a tricky note….
    sigh…nothing to see here folks…moving on….

Neither of these sounded as good to me as the Cabotine flankers…

Gres Cabochard is still one of my longtime favorites, and I have tried the other offerings without finding the love. Fruity floral is something I cannot grasp in any perfume. So many berries and fruits make me want to bake a pie. Well, that’s not true. Makes me want to possibly eat one. But only peach. I love peach pie!:) Can I be forgiven?

I adore some fruity florals, but I’ll forgive you anyway if you bake me a peach pie 🙂
