I tried the Chance Eau Tendre – instead of a scent strip, it’s one of those peel off sticker things with liquid inside. What does it smell like? MJ’s Daisy!!!!
LOL…then that should sell!
Honestly- my sister and I cracked up at this one. We tried it at Nordstrom’s and she loudly declared how much she LOVED it…after a few sniffs I realized what it smelled like: Johnson’s and Johnson’s baby shampoo. Almost exactly. She sniffed it again and decided that was exactly why she liked it.
Did you get the same from it?
This could be old news but I was surprised to see in Australian Vogue last month some new ads for Opium – that being the sort of perfume that rarely gets ads these days, thought I. But of course I later noticed that Opium has been repackaged, hence the ads, I guess. Now it’s in very dark brown frosted ambery looking bottle. No change in the the theme colours or or style of ad. In fact the ads I saw last month could equally have run in the 1980s, when Opium was so popular people were pouring it on their cornflakes.
Yes, they recently repackaged it, and if the reports I’ve seen are correct, they reformulated it too.
Ah, so that makes the bottle I bought last year ‘vintage’ I guess. Thanks for the info.
Not a fashion/beauty mag, but the May issue of Entrepreneur has a cover story on the Le Labo guy: http://www.entrepreneur.com/magazine/entrepreneur/2010/may/205990.html
Nice article, thanks!
