Hilfiger Woman by Tommy Hilfiger ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 6 April 2010 29 Comments

Hilfiger WomanHilfiger Woman fragrance

Tommy Hilfiger has launched Hilfiger Woman. The new fragrance is meant to be smart, chic and elegant, and to reflect the simple glamor of the American woman.

The fruity floral fragrance includes notes of pink grapefruit, mandarin, raspberry, bergamot, Egyptian lotus, magnolia, jasmine, vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver.

Tommy Hilfiger Hilfiger Woman is available in 30 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum. The fragrance is currently exclusive to Douglas overseas, and I do not know when (or if) it launches in the US.  (via cosmoty.de)

Tommy Girl grows up? Oh wait, this is a fruity-floral…with raspberry, no less. I like the bottle & the ad though.

Tommy Girl supposedly already grew up with TH Dreaming, I think! This sounds somewhere in between TG & Dreaming, maybe.

Well, I guess throwing some patch & vetiver in the base signals grown up. The rest sounds the same as everything else though. Navy = the new staid? But who knows? Maybe it will smell OK.

Raspberry, eh? Well, I guess this won’t be what I get Daisy for her birthday. 🙂

Is it wrong of me to like that ribbon so much?

I wonder if it took them as long to choose as Chloe’s…. 😉

Is that ribbon on the actual cap? It looks like it, in which case it is not going to hold up well, I’d guess.

Someone must have been reading my journal! I was just thinking, “You know, there simply are not enough fruity floral perfumes.” Glad the Hilfiger people are doing their part.

They totally read your journal. They told me they didn’t name it after you so they wouldn’t have to pay out royalties.

It smells nice, very fresh and really summery. I cannot detect any patchouli (so glad…). I like this one the best of the Hilfiger scents.

I didnt care for the mens Hilfiger at all. Ive never been a fan of any of Tommys scents. Tommy Girl, True Star and Dreaming were just blah. They werent horrible but just nothing Id wear. I’ll give this a try if I ever see it in the U.S. I do like the ad and bottle. : )

Could perfumers stop using grapefruit in everything? That is a note that doesn’t work well on me at all. I’m just saying. 🙂

I LOVE Grapefruit in any fragrance, don’t think it’s used strongly enough in most fragrances, and yes, that DRECK that was Fronted by Beyonce and Enrique Igelsias that was “True Star” Womens and Mens Versions were HIDEOUS! YUCK ICK GAG! I LIKE Dreaming and think the men’s “Hilfiger” was nicely done, nothing earthshattering, but very clean and nice enough to wear to make people ask pleasantly, “What is that you are wearing!?” 🙂 this sounds kinda nice! Actually, Very Nice! Loving the Lotus and Magnolia!

True Star was not a favorite of mine either, agree much of the rest of the line has been pleasant, at least.
