Cacharel will introduce Amor Amor Delight, the latest limited edition flanker to their popular Amor Amor fragrance for women (see also: Amor Amor Sunshine & Amor Pour Homme Sunshine, Amor Amor Tentation, Amor Amor Sunrise), in April.
Amor Amor Delight was developed by perfumers Carlos Benaïm, Anne Flipo and Veronique Nyberg, and is described as fresh and fruity. The notes include grapefruit peel, raspberry sorbet, pineapple, rose, amber, musk and patchouli.
Cacharel Amor Amor Delight will be available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette.
I may simply be in a snarky frame of mind (ok, cross out the word “may”…) but why does it take three perfumers to make fruit salad?
You know, I was seriously wondering the same. I hope what it means is just that CB & AF were sort of supervising VN, who I think is new-ish? It would be a serious waste of talent to have 3 perfumers giving this thing their full attention.
Just saw this today. Beautiful bottle, but I can’t say much for the perfume. Very grapefruity, fades fast. Not as summery as I would have liked, and not as nice (in my opinion) as the first two, Eau Fraiche and Nouvelle Eau Fraiche.
Thanks!
Anytime I see the words “fresh and fruity” I want to run for the hills. 🙂
Money saved.
Grapefruit is nice in the summer so I might give this a try if I can find it. I liked the one from ’05 or ’06, but haven’t caught any of these since.
Never smelled a single one!
Wow, that’s a lot of flankers. I’m sure this isn’t at all unusual (I think Eternity had a bunch of spin-offs), but it surprises me since I didn’t think any of them sold well. Maybe I’m wrong? I just can’t imagine thinking, Well, the last five times we did this it was a bust, but lets give it another shot!
Oh, I think it’s one of their bigger sellers — just not in the US.
When I started reading the notes I thought “this would make a great drink”
And it might 🙂
LOL! Indeed it would. I enjoy scents on the fresh side, and love citrus, if not other fruits, but I think this would make a better drink than perfume!
I can feel only camphor when I smell it…
