At Seattle's Blue Marble Energy, chemists are cooking up a perfume made from the waste products of a local organic brewery, including rancid beer grains, green algae and a "sludge" consisting of 50,000 different kinds of bacteria.
The grains replace petroelum in the production process making the perfume, called Eos, completely carbon neutral.

Now THAT’S recycling. 😉
Yes!
If it smells good, more power to ’em, and I’ll definitely support it if I can!
🙂
Buying a locally produced or niche parfum that doesn’t advertise as much probably saves more petroleum, but I love the idea!
I think this is mostly sold locally (?)
Wow. Takes recycling to an entirely new level. When I first thought of beer and perfume, I had to think of my college days. Throw in a splash of coffee and some Dior (I think that and No. 5 were what I was wearing then) and voilah! lol Not so sure I’d want to smell like that again…
I don’t want to smell like that again either!
