Carven Le Vetiver ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 28 October 2009 14 Comments

Le Vetiver de Carven

Carven has launched Le Vetiver de Carven, an updated version of their 1957 fragrance, Vetiver, reportedly created by Madame Carven for her husband.

Le Vetiver features notes of mandarin, mint, geranium, juniper, nutmeg, lavender, absinthe, vetiver and patchouli.

Carven Le Vetiver is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum; the bottle was designed by Carven's creative director, Ludovic Alban. (via carven.fr, marie-claire.fr, masculin)

Now this one I have to try. Let’s see if they bring a great new vetiver onto the market.

I haven’t seen it for sale in the US at all yet…and I think it’s only officially launching in Europe this month.

Notes sound SO not me, but decent all the same.

Bottle looks like a generic deodorant, though.

The shape really does. I’d like to see it in person though…that might be a cool cap.

This should be coming out any minute now, right?
