Great, thanks! Is that thing REALLY rough?
One side has sand, the other doesn’t. Once the sand wears down, there’s oatmeal in there – but the majority is soap only. People complain that the sand part wears off too quickly. I soap up a washcloth on the soap side, then run the washcloth lightly over the sand side – enough of it rubs off to provide some exfoliation, so it last longer than if you scrubbed away using the sand side – too rough for that anyway
BTW – the soap is really rich and creamy, and the scent is awesome!!!
Thanks so much Karin!
Try this for a “natural” exfoliating scrub—-take a spoon of granulated white sugar —yup, the kind you’d put in a cup of tea—and add it to some liquid soap in the palm of your hand or on a cloth (works really well using your hands)…anyhow, it’s best to use a gentle soap when exfoliating so you don’t end up feeling “burned” something like Johnson’s Baby wash or even a gentle shampoo, like Suave…which btw, makes excellent shower gel.
I’m way to lazy to make my own, but thanks — that will help someone!
