Neat trick – driving a boat while writhing. I would’ve crashed into Pont Neuf.
I wonder if there’s a longer version in which something — crash or otherwise! — happens at the end? I sort of expected something to happen. It’s a really nice ad visually though.
I was kind of expecting her to take off some other article (after the coat and the glasses and some hair thing?)–maybe all she had left to remove was the backless dress.
LOL !!! I was thinking “she’s gonna put her back out or crash!”
guess I’m not the only practical woman out here. Now if you all will pardon me….I have to go drive my boat recklessly down a canal while writhing!
okay, you got me…..no boat, no canal…I don’t even own a backless black dress (which is okay because I generally wear more undergarments than she seems to) ….I’ll probably just go run a couple loads of laundry and mop the kitchen floor….but I could attempt a bit of “writhing” here and there…..mostly when I try to stand back up from the hands and knees mopping.
LOL — I don’t think that you mopping would make a good commercial 😉
was it the knee-pads? darn, I knew those knee-pads weren’t sexy
Oh, to me Givenchy is probably going for the modernized version of “Charade” (I’m thinking of the boat-ride scene). Too bad this one doesn’t have a plot though but that’s just me.
Too funny, everyone!
From everyone’s comments, I thought she was really writhing around… that wasn’t soooo bad. 😉 And she’s lost some weight, she looks good. 🙂 Great ad, but I do not care for VI AT ALL.
I think she’s gorgeous…
Me. too. Didn’t think she had room to lose any weight!
Ditto that. And her sister (or half-sister, I guess) is a plus-size model, and I think she’s gorgeous.
Me too, she looks a lot like one of my half-sisters.
I like the vibe of this ad a lot, but I think the blue screen/green screen special effects were particularly bad … or else intentionally meant to look that way in a nod to old films.
the latter I thought.
I thought so too.
As I was watching it, all I could think about was the film “Some like it hot”
Anyone know what the music is from?
I don’t, sorry!
I think it is an original composition by Nicolas Errera.
