The 2nd annual Les Parfums, L'Exposition Parisienne trade show will take place in Paris September 12th through the 15th, and will be open to the general public on the 13th:
Beauty, creativity, singularity, perfume is, by essence, part of the artistic domain. It is the meeting point of culture, inspiration and memory. The precious olfactory creations that are exceptional perfumes are its shining jewel.
Once again presented at the espace Richelieu, in the heart of Paris, this second edition is gearing up to be a prestigious one. Some thirty brands will be present.
A space for encounters and exchanges, both cultural and commercial, this trade fair dedicated to artistic perfumery will target buyers from the most selective stores in France and elsewhere.
For one day, the fair will also open its doors to the general public. This is the chance to discover brands that have never been presented in France and to initiate adults and children into the perfume universe via workshops and activities that are both fun and educational.
Admission on Sunday the 13th is 10€. For more information, see the show's website, lesparfumsparis.com. (via press release)
Update: the dates have been changed to the 3rd through the 5th of October; the public day is now October 4.
Oh la vache! I may have to change my vacation plans this year!
If you go, do please report back!
Now that would be a fun trade show. Are there such things here in the US?
Yes, although not all of them are open to the public. But I’ll be posting about PXA (NYC in June) later in the week…maybe even tomorrow if I can get to it.
How exciting! I was already planning a trip to Paris in September and this is a brilliant reason for that weekend.
If you have extra room in your suitcase, I don’t take up much space. 😉
Lucky you! Not a bad ticket price, either.
I wish I could go – this looks great! And that image is gorgeous – is it a poster, do you know? A copy of that would console me for not being able to attend. 🙂
I’m sorry, but I don’t know…and there isn’t really any information on their website as of yet. Might be worth checking back there later.
Dying to go to NY’s show. Looking forward to that post and thanks for keeping the site going!
I’ll have about 100 tickets to give away…
