Shantara Reve Etoile ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 8 December 2008 2 Comments

Shantara Reve Etoile natural fragranceShantara will launch Rêve Etoilé, a new fragrance that "aims to reintroduce the traditions and know-how of long ago". Rêve Etoilé is an all-natural, 98% organic fragrance, certified by Ecocert and Cosmebio.

Close your eyes, and the fragrance unfolds like a dream. Rêve Etoilé is a starry dream made up of over thirty fragrances from all around the world.

The base note opens with a blend of sandalwood and patchouli. The top notes emerge gradually, the liveliness and freshness of mandarin and pineapple combining delicately with the depth of the woody note, thus lightening its effect. The beautifully floral middle note reveals a rose, a fragrance with a hint of geranium that blends delicately with the “white flower” and spicy scents of a sweeter ylang-ylang. The base note rests on a beautifully balsamic Indian spikenard.

Shantara Rêve Etoilé will launch in France this coming January, and will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum for 88€. (quotes via parfumshantara, additional information via cosmetiquemag.fr)
