How adorable!
I don't usually complain for lack of credit or attributing inspiration back to me, because I consider it flattering to even be inspired by something I say and I know the perfume community works in mysterious ways, but OK, since this is obviously making *money* out of the slogan, might I gently point out that the Latin-inspired phrase was originally coined by me on Basenotes *more than 2 years ago* and the proof is here for all to see (second post, too, not much scrolling)?

I'd be interested to see how this is handled by all involved. (my mail is perfumeshrine@yahoo.com, btw) 🙂
Isn't it?
Well it won't be handled by me at all since I'm not involved 🙂
I believe her email address can be found at the store link shown above.
If you visit the Basenotes thread shown below, you'll see we were using the phrase in 2005.

The profit from the sale of a shirt is $2. Anyone can create and upload their artwork to cafepress. My goal was to offer some fun stuff to the fun people I've grown to love via the internet.
I cracked up at “My skin smells better than your skin”. Not sure that would sell though.
Not grammatically correctly either, from what I see! 🙂
Strange, as I had been discussing it in private with none other than Veronica all that time ago, our private joke being she's mad about vetiver.
But like I said, small potatoes (usually don't give it the time of the day, too busy) . It's nice that you're doing something for the community ~since your profit margin is so small~ though and sincerely best of luck!
I am going to order a black one, and am just waiting for the measurements of a friend, so I can get both at once! You don't have one saying “Perfume makes scents” – I would fancy that as a slogan too.
If I had more time, I'd make more variations. I encourage everyone to type up a slogan or make a sketch and use Cafe Press to get just what you love.
I say, QuarryJoy, really? My other half can draw. But I guess if a person wanted to do their own logo/design, there would be a minimum order, which might be a fair bit more than my perfumista circle of friends – that's the only problem I would foresee. But I love the vetiver one anyway!
No minimum order–really, truly. You can choose whether you want to get items printed for yourself or to make them public. Poke around the Cafe Press site and see what's the what. I envy that you're partner can draw, but my guy can FIX ANYTHING. And I wouldn't trade him or his skills for nuthin'. Look at the house Mr. Quarry renovated: quarryschool.com.
Oh boy, to say he sounds “handy” is an understatement! I will speak to my other half as I think he may have been quietly planning something like this for my Xmas present. There's that other phrase I like too which you could just fit on a T-shirt maybe: “So many scents, so little skin…” Let me get back to you if I may, but the vetiver one is knock out as it is!
