Sonoma Scent Studio has launched Velvet Rose, a new "deep and velvety rose soliflore" fragrance for women:
One of our favorite roses here at Sonoma Scent Studio is the variety of Rosa damascena called Kazanlik, which bears the same name as the city in the famous Rose Valley of Bulgaria where it is grown and harvested for rose absolute.
The notes feature Damask rose, bergamot, carnation, violet leaf, musk and "a whisper of patchouli".
Sonoma Scent Studio Velvet Rose is available in Perfume Oil, Eau de Parfum and Shea Cream. Samples are available as well. (via sonomascentstudio)
Other recent launches from Sonoma Scent Studio: Champagne de Bois, Rose Musc, Cameo & Jour Ensoleille, Ambre Noir.
Ironically I haven't had much luck with rose scents. But with $3 samples, it can't hurt to try. Their fireside and opal have me curious too…
I like Fireside, but really like Fireside Intense — mean to review it soon. Fireside is the sweeter of the two, Intense is drier & smokier with a touch of birch tar.
Hmm, think I'll try them both. I have a bigger (perfume) sweet tooth than you usually – my luck, I'll love them both!
