MAC will launch Air of Style, a new limited edition fragrance, this November. Air of Style comes in a hand-blown reusable glass bottle, and at $60 for 30 ml, is priced considerably higher than the regular MAC fragrance line.
The Air of Style fragrance was developed by perfumer Laurent Le Guernec and is described as a "baroque floral". The notes include red dates, peonies, cypress, white pepper, tuberose absolute, orange blossom, jasmine, ylang ylang, orris, leather, rare woods, vetiver, tonka bean and amber crystals.
The production run for Air of Style will be limited to 3,000 bottles. (quote via Women's Wear Daily, image and additional information via cosmeticnews)
Parfums d'Armando Martinez, an indie line that debuted earlier this year with four fragrances, has launched Kitsune:
Kitsune, magical creatures of Japanese folklore, able to assume human form and known for their trickery. Exotic, alluring and mysterious. A scent that clings to the idea of taking on many forms itself.
The notes for Kitsune include leather, frankincense, amber, birch, styrax, orris, ylang ylang, jasmine, rose, bergamot, neroli, mandarin and rosewood. Kitsune is available in 60 ml Eau de Parfum for $80; samples are available for $4 each. (via armandocmartinez)
Hi,
I love the names Armando comes up with for his line of fragrances. I'll have to order a sample of this one. 🙂
Dawn
He does have great names — love “Pillow of Flowers”.
And more to the point: he does have great fragrances!
I have already reviewed three of them on Perfume Shrine(Maquillage, Pillow of Flowers and Benefactor) and they are all lovely. Nice to see someone who isn't out there to follow the latest trend or alternatively to shock with ugliness 🙂
