Canali has launched Summer Night, a new limited edition fragrance for men:
Canali Summer Night, the newest fragrance for Men from the stylish house of Canali, captures the magical moment of a sensual dreamy summer night. The warm enveloping amber and woody scent is enriched with a sea breeze and leafy green Violet that lingers in the balmy summer evening air.
Additional notes include mandarin, bergamot, coriander, cardamom, nutmeg, apple, pineapple, melon, orange flowers, jasmine, lily of the valley, leather, musk, vetiver, tonka bean, oak tree musk, cedarwood, sandalwood and iris.
Canali Summer Night is available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette. (quote via saksfifthavenue, additional information via accademiadelprofumo.it)
Becker.eshaya has launched a follow-up to 2005's Be. The new fragrance, Golden Amber, was created by perfumer Clement Gavarry and is described as "bold, confident, and sexual — qualities expressed through the notes of sandalwood, patchouli, and its golden amber namesake".
Additional notes include mandarin, bergamot, lychee, jasmine, cashmere wood and musk.
Becker.eshaya Golden Amber is available in 60 ml Eau de Parfum, 7.1 ml Eau de Parfum fragrance pen and in a matching fragrance candle. (via beckereshaya)
I actually like the ad copy for Canali Summer Night. I always think I am going to like things like this, and am then disappointed. Saks' website is down right now, so I can't see how much it costs, but a Google search yielded up this story about fashion houses, including Canali, and their summer offerings, which ties into your other article about fashion houses and the match (or lack thereof of) between their fragrances and apparel. For some reason, the url box does not work – it always explodes when I try to use it.

I didn't love the first Canali, and not likely to love this one as I so rarely appreciate aquatic scents — but if it ever makes it to stores other than Saks, will give it a go. Looks like it is $60, not too bad for 100 ml.
