Pacifica, best known for their scented candles and soaps, has introduced a range of reasonably priced personal fragrances. There are currently five scents:
Mediterranean Fig ~ "This earthy blend combines sweet fig, palm, cyclamen and sandalwood."
Tahitian Gardenia (shown) ~ "Heady, smooth and intoxicating, this sacred flower from Tahiti symbolizes love, unity and grace."
Nerola Orange Blossom ~ "Named in honor of the enchanting princess of Nerola, this tempting blend combines the sweet notes of neroli mingling with a hint of spice."
Waikiki Pikake ~ "This blend of delicate sweet Hawaiian jasmine and sensuous velvety sandalwood is tribute to old Hawaii in honor of beloved Princess Kaiulani."
Vanilla Vera Cruz ~ "Legend says that it was a hummingbird who first discovered the sweet, spicy vanilla bean bestowing its secrets of love to only the most deserving humans."
The Pacifica perfumes are blended with natural grain alcohol, and are $19.95 for 36 ml, concentration unknown. (via pacificacandles) Thanks to Michal for the news that the Pacifica fragrances are now available at Whole Foods markets!
R: I've tried the orange blossom and it's very nice…and as far as I can tell “eau de toilette” strength. If only all scents came in 36ml…the bottle is size is perfect, K
Thanks K. I am told the fig is nice too — looking forward to trying these. And completely agree on the size, so glad they didn't do 50 or 100 ml.
Can't wait to try these as I like many of their candles. I hope they eventually come out with a Sacred Champaca.
Sacred Champaca sounds lovely, I'll have to see if they have it in a soap!
I was all excited to find out they are making little fragrances to match their soaps. My excitement turned to disappointment when I discovered they are not making one to accompany their French Lilac soap. Who needs another vanilla perfume? Boooo! Me want lilac!
I will have to content myself with the orange blossom.
Oooh, now you've made me want the French Lilac soap! Perhaps they'll have more fragrances to come if these do well?
I have the Tahitian Gardenia body cream and candle. I received them as a gift for Christmas. I really like the body cream but whenever I burn the candle it doesn't smell like anything. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this?
What a shame, Kevin reviewed their Nile Lily candle and thought the throw was quite good. I have not tried any of them so will be no help!
