Escada will launch the Into The Blue (shown above left) fragrance in October:
The juice opens on fresh, green notes of leaves and herbs, enlivened with a pop of star fruit. Peony helps form the floral heart, while the base includes woods and amber.
Also in October, look for Femme de Montblanc (shown above right), a fragrance created to honor Montblanc's 100th anniversary:
...the amethyst-coloured juice is a spicy oriental. It features top notes of bergamot, cardamom, cinnamon and pineapple, with a heart of Turkish rose, jasmine, May and orange blossom and heliotrope.
The base is a blend of woods, amber and musk, offset by gourmand notes of raspberry, chocolate and peach. (both above via moodiereport)
Hot Kiss will launch a trio of fragrances under licensing arrangements with Demeter. Look for them around Christmas. (via Women's Wear Daily)
Seems strange Escada would release a fragrance with exactly the same name as one of Givenchy's (though a limited edition). I wonder if Givenchy will kick up a fuss?
Very odd, and as always, I assume, perhaps wrongly, that Escada wouldn't have done so if they hadn't managed to trademark the name. We shall see!
I just smelled Into The Blue a couple days ago in their boutique. BORING! Way too much peony in new releases…
I have yet to find a fragrance from Escada that I need to own, so no doubt I'll agree with you Ina.
I'm a little disappointed at this perfume. I really liked it when I first tried it, and I was given a bottle as a gift. However, I got tired of the scent really soon. If you want something with peony, you might as well get the Stella In Two – Peony by Stella McCartney. It's a much better scent.
The Stella in Two is pretty, and I love the packaging.
Escada Into The Blue reminds me of something like Acqua Di Gio for men, but with florals. It's not bad… but not unique either. Perhaps worth buying just a small bottle, since thankfully Escada offers 30ml bottles now.
I loved this though i didnt find it to be very unusual though its not typical either. There is some depth to it.. the almost masculine scent but with fruity, feminine notes.. a great evening scent that will get you noticed.
Lasting power isnt bad though the drydown is a bit sweet.
p.s: im talking about mont blanc femme.
Escada Into the Blue on the other hand.. was dissapointing and cheap. DIdnt like it
