Creative Scentualization has launched the "Comes From Within" trio of fragrances, including Love, Light and Peace:
Love is "designed to inspire that priceless love of self that makes one irresistible to others" and features clove, spicy carnation, rose, Tunisian amber, French vanilla, clean musk and Indian Sandalwood.
Light is a "sheer, luminous fragrance" with bergamot, freesia, honeysuckle, night blooming jasmine, fresh oceanic musk and white cedar.
Peace "both captivates and induces a sense of calm", and has notes of bergamot, fresh oceanic musk and sandalwood.
The trio is available now at Barneys. (via press release from Creative Scentualization)
Paprika Brasil will join the Hermessence collection at Hermès this fall. The fragrance was created by Hermès house nose Jean Claude Ellena, and was...
...inspired by the book Tristes Tropiques. Written by Claude Lévi-Strauss, the anthropologist discusses the precious wood called bois de braise (from which the name "Brazil" is derived) and the effects of the introduction in Europe of American and oriental spices. (via cosmeticnews)
Just heard about the new Hermessence – ooh, I'm excited! Not about the paprika (I don't enjoy using it in cooking, because it always smells and tastes dead and stale to me), but about the 'Brasil'… I love brazil nuts…probably that has nothing to do with the notes, though.
I've smelled the whole trio at Barneys. They are all divine, but Peace is my favorite. Light is just lovely.
N, I'm intrigued, of course, but like you not sure I'm excited about the paprika. We shall see!
Oh good, hope I'll get the chance to try them soon!
I see where you tucked the Hermes one at the end, R. I almost missed it! LOL!
I can't wait to try it. It sounds so amazingly distinct, and J-CE has not let us down yet. :):)
Hugs!
Sorry R! If I had a picture, it would have been its own little article 🙂
I have high hopes despite not adoring paprika, R…and there is little enough else to look forward to this year!
