The Washington Post has a very funny article in which columnist Gene Weingarten, who does not like perfume, decides to buy his wife a fragrance for Christmas.

Thanks for posting the Washington Post article – brilliant! Was laughing over it until the end when my laughter turned somewhat hysterical, intermixed w/ tears upon reading that the perfume he ended up buying that cost the sun, moon and several outer planets was Plus Que Jamais – my latest insane lemming. His wife is a *very* lucky woman! I'm afraid my DH would just have laughed loudly and walked away quickly.
I laughed at the outcome too…it really wasn't what I expected. Hope his wife liked her present!
