The first thing I do in the morning is get this blog running, so I did not even know about the terrorist attacks in London until I was finished. The Guardian blog is posting regular updates, and includes comments from people who were in the tube when the blasts went off. The Londonist blog is also posting updates and includes links to other news sources.

El Mundo (for anyone who can read Spanish) is also keeping close tabs, but as a forewarning, they have many pictures that are hard to look at. http://www.elmundo.es
How horrible. I don't obsess about perfume on a day like today.
Thanks K. I am finding all the pictures hard to look at.
It certainly puts things into perspective, doesn't it.
Abacquer, thanks for commenting. I cannot turn on the TV as my son is too young to see this, but am following online and it is truly heartbreaking.
While this disgusts me, I would be even sadder if the majority of Britons react to this like the Spaniards did to terrorist attacks in their country. Then we’ll really know if there will “always be an England.”
For me it feels like a reopening of the wound left by 9/11. I hate this feeling. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of London.
I live just outside London, and lived and worked in the centre of the city for years. Believe me, London is used to terrorist disruption, after decades of IRA activity. We're used to the interruptions to travel, and the images on the television, and the vigilance. Things will get back to normal very quickly, and the terrorists will wonder what on earth they achieved, apart from a burst of publicity. N

Thanks for commenting V.
Horrible thing to happen. Terrorists are just murderers. No way a thing like this would affect the country's sentiments, though. (If a blitz of V-2 rockets couldn't do it…) My cousins are nurses working in the London area and, although they haven't been called into the city, they say all their friends have rushed in because the hospitals in Central London need full staffing. It's hard to look at the pictures, and it made my morning train ride seem surreal as the PA system cautioned us all to stay alert for suspicious packages, and for once I felt like listening.
Take heart from Greg Gutfeld, editor of UK Maxim, London offices. It might make you feel better about the Brits. Among other things, he says, “they aren't like the [begins with an f and ends with an ucking] Spanish.”

Thanks, Tania. I sure hope so.
Dear R, do you know that this is the second website I open in the morning (after Arts and Letters Daily?) As I like to have breakfast with the radio and TV off, your blog broke the news to me. Thank you.
I don't know how much TV coverage there was outside the UK, but if you saw any, did you notice how efficiently the whole emergency was handled? This was despite multiple sites, and the fact that the police force was undermanned because many had been dragged away for the G8 conference in Scotland. Did you hear how many tourists were pulled into neighbouring offices, in case of secondary explosions? Did you notice how people just patiently walked across London to the train stations to get home? We are SO USED to this; we must be the most bombed city in the world outside the Middle East, and we have become extremely capable at taking such atrocities in our stride, and knowing what to do. It must be so dispiriting for the bombers, to realise how little 'terror' they've actually generated. It will change nothing.
So glad to be part of your morning routine, and that makes me feel better about finding out myself from the fragrance board at MakeupAlley. Now I need to go find Arts & Letters Daily, that sounds interesting.
T, All day I have been thinking how ironic it is that I was comforted by the pictures of the wounded being treated at London hospitals…I keep remembering the footage of the emergency personnel waiting at the NY hospitals on 9/11 for the wounded that never showed up.
N, I'm sure there was TV coverage here, but because my son is home I didn't see any of it. Will watch tonight after he goes to bed.
Yes, London must be so much better prepared than ANY city in the US.
My love, thoughts and genuine prayers goes out to all the Londoners from a NYC girl who knows what it feels like to have your innocence stolen by an act of terrorism. Stay strong guys and I am proud of your strength.
It's so much to take in today, I don't feel like wearing much of anything and am without scent today.
Thanks for commenting.
Same here S.
