I had no idea there was a perfume museum in NYC. Did anyone ever get a chance to visit it? Was it interesting? Last spring there was a great perfume bottle exhibit at FIT that had French perfume bottles from the beginning of the 20th century up until the late 1950s if I remember correctly. It would have been heaven if they had a machine that would spray out the scents of some of the bottles they shown, such as the Coties, Diorama and Shocking. They had a machine that sprayed out single flower scents like gardenia and honeysuckle. Oh well.
I was literally planning a visit when I first heard they had closed earlier this year. Figures!
That FIT exhibit sounded wonderful, wish I could have seen it. My dream is to go to the Osmotheque in Versailles 🙂
