Guerlain's two new Aqua Allegoria fragrances, Orange Magnifica and Pivoine Magnifica, are set for official launch on April 1.
Orange Magnifica is described as a sparkling, effervescent fragrance. Key notes include bergamot, blood orange, jasmine, neroli and cedar wood.
Pivoine Magnifica is a tender floral, constructed (as its name suggests) around a heart of peony, complemented by notes of pink grapefruit, violet and iris.
(via moodiereport) The last two Aqua Allegorias released, Anisia Bella and Mentafollia, took a very long time to actually arrive in US stores, so I wouldn't count on seeing these in Sephora for quite some time — unless your local Sephora happens to be in Europe, in which case, can I come live with you?
Update: see reviews of Guerlain Orange Magnifica & Pivoine Magnifica.
The Pivoine sounds wonderful! Pretty, feminine, bright. I wonder if First-inFragrance will get it soon…oh wait, the shipping will probably be pretty high…aww, never mind!
Escentual.co.uk has it for pre-order (delivery in May), but I hate paying full price for an Aqua Allegoria knowing that eventually every online discounter will have it marked down. It is a long wait though!
Orange Magnifica sounds great to me! After just falling for The Different Company's Divine Bergamot, I'm really in a citrus mood for Spring. Of course I already have two blood orange fragrances, but what's one more, right?
Divine Bergamot is just a wonderful fragrance. What blood orange scents do you like?
My favorite blood orange is Keiko Mecheri Sanguine. I also have MPG Sanguine Muskissime, they are very similar. So nice for summer, really the best orange scents I've found.
