Thierry Mugler is preparing to launch new floral interpretations of his best-selling Angel fragrance, the Angel Garden of Stars (Jardin d'Etoiles).
Three perfumers were invited to work a single floral note into the original oriental gourmand formula. Olivier Cresp, the creator of Angel, is responsible for Peony Angel, with pepper and green notes; Christine Nagel developed Lily Angel, with green notes and nutmeg; Francoise Caron developed Violet Angel, with woody notes.
The trio will be called Garden of the Stars, and should be available in stores by April. The fragrances are in 25 ml Eau de Parfum in refillable bottles; a 50 ml refill will be sold separately. (via cosmeticsint.co.uk, wwd)
I am actually curious about the violet angel. I wonder what it will be like and if the line will be successful.
There are certainly plenty of Angel addicts, I'm guessing it will do very well. I have actually never tried Angel on my skin…the first try on a test strip scared me away.
