The contest is open to anyone, anywhere, and the winners will get to select the miniature of their choice from the selection here. The contest will be open until around noon-ish on Thursday, and I'll announce the winners on Saturday morning.
Cute site! This is the first I’ve seen of these perfumes. I will definitely have to try them (especially the fig perfume). 🙂 Thanks for having another giveaway!

Very easy to use website, very well-designed. I love the perfume pendants and the perfume flask! I have not tried any Aftelier scents, but several of them sound interesting. Maybe Lumiere?

Nice site – easy to navigate and get information. I was a bit put off by the price of the 2 ml minis, but I kinda fell for the little heart flacons, and will have to order some samples. Some of the scents sound like they shouldn’t be missed, but I have somehow managed to miss them so far.
I enjoyed checking out the website. I like the purple and green color scheme. I’ve not yet tried an Aftelier, though I enjoyed reading Essence and Alchemy. The green fragrances and the ones with lotus sound mighty intriguing. Yes, please enter me in the drawing. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
LOVED THE SITE-THX!! DEFINATELY WILL BE HOLIDAY SHOPPING THERE! YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO USE MY INFORMATION/EMAIL, IN THE EVENT THAT I WIN A BOTTLE.
Love the website – wanna try them all. Pls enter me in the drawing, you have permission to use my email addy
Nice site. I believe that it’s on a somewhat slow server, but that’s ok. Shopping cart works well (and it’s secure). Overall, a good site. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
I loved the colored-touched postcard images…very nice. And I like the high-quality photos of the bottles.

Very nice site. I think I’ll be ordering some samples. I really liked the silver flask section. A bit pricey though…Although, I do understand that it might cost more to make natural fragrance.
“You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win”
I liked the website- very easy to navigate, uncluttered and straight forward. I certainly wouldn’t know what to choose, should I win one of the minis, but I suspect my mother is getting a tin of tea for her birthday.

I’ve always wanted to try an Aftelier scent; I have Mandy Aftel’s books on making perfumes and on cooking with essential oils, and both are quite good. I’ve made the chocolate and saffron body oil seen on the new website (based on her recipe in Aroma), and the combination is literally yummy.
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win. I think it’s a lovely site, very easy to navigate. I love the handmade silver boxes to hold the solids, and those silver flasks? Wow!
I would love to be entered in the draw and you have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
I am not familiar through experience with any of Mandy Aftel’s fragrances, but know of her site because of her being one of a handful of natural perfumers, which definitely seems lately to be gaining in popularity. The thing that has always fascinated me the most is her workbook courses on natural perfumery. I would absolutely love to take these courses but the books and the oil kit are very expensive and though I am sure it is worth the money, I still have not saved enough pennies to put in that direction. Perhaps I will need to stop buying so many bottles of perfume and invest in a bit of perfume education.
I have heard the Aftelier name thrown around NST but haven’t gotten around to smelling any of them yet. I just might have to try Fig Essence and Blond Tabac Essence. The site is very interesting and has a vintage feel to it which I love. And, like Masna, I love the silver solid perfume boxes.

Site looks very organized, easy to navigate, and clear. I thought it was also pretty cool that they sell fragrance education materials. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Nice site with relatively easy navigation, although it took me a bit to verify that these are by Mandy Aftel. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.

The site seems really well organized and “au naturel” in style- I really liked it. I’m also very interested in the perfumes themselves, and the antique-natural attitude of the whole thing. I really want to try “Tango” or “Pink Lotus” just based on the descriptions. And Parfum Prive would be so interesting, with real ambergris(!), coupled with several notes that I love. Their careful custom perfume process is also really fascinating, but it’s exorbitantly expensive (unfortunately). I also love the custom cases and the little elegant “flacons” of perfume. None of it seems very practical, but then again, most beautiful things aren’t. I could be very easily tempted to buy something just for fun 🙂
The site seems fairly easy to navigate and I’m a fan of purple and green together. You have my permission to use my email address if I win, and I would choose the Cognac mini because I can’t resist a good boozy note in fragrances. Thanks for the contest!
That’s a very clear and pretty site – love the colored postcards!
Her body of work is stunning!

Contest or not, I’m really glad you’re sharing the website. I have never tried any of their fragrances. After looking through it all, I’m especially attracted to the perfume pendants and the cases (usually I only find these as vintage items on places like Etsy.)
The purple and green colour scheme works great, even at an almost subconscious level, evoking a theme of flora; especially by matching this scheme with the many images of fields.
I also love how the answers to the FAQ open up right there when you click them, which is actually quite unlike most FAQ pages you see these days, where there is a huge list of questions, followed by a huge list of answers and “Back to Top” buttons. Your way of doing it here seems much more quick and effective.
Overall the site is pretty consistent design-wise (it maintains the top-to-bottom order of: picture, title, description, products) and it’s also very organized, which therefore makes it very easy to navigate.
The only aspects I would change to make the design better would be to rearrange the placement of the elements on the top.
Right now, “Samples,” “Checkout” are isolated and therefore out of place. It might be better to include them in the purple bar, that would make them bigger and therefore more noticeable and more aesthetically pleasing since they would belong in a group, instead of isolated on their own at the top.
Also, you could consider placing the words in the purple navigation bar to the left or center, instead of the right. Currently, they look slightly out of place and maybe even easy to ignore given the fact that the majority of the site’s navigation menu is aimed at the left, and therefore that is primarily where the viewer’s attention is being directed. Shifting these words at the top closer to the left will make the design more consistent and easier to read, since your eye’s attention will be directed to only one direction instead of two or three.
However, if you do make these changes, always keep a hierarchy in mind. In this case, the Aftelier Perfumes logo should be the largest and most attention-grabbing.
That’s all I have. 🙂

Interesting photos. Reminds me of late 19th century Russia.
I love the miniatures, and the scents are so unique.

Very cute website, easy to navigate and user friendly. It seems like they’re reaching beyond the usual niche offerings and trying some new things, which is interesting.

Mmm, not sure about the site. It seemed a little cluttered to me, however it was easy to navigate. Ultimately though it is about the perfumes which sound lovely. I would especially like to try the Leather Essence, White Flowers and Shiso. Some serious pricing going there although that is possibly the result of using natural rather than synthetic products.

my favorite fragrance is Mandy’s Pink Lotus , an HG year round .
I love her new site , simple and pretty , great images too !
I’d love to win a mini for my handbag !
Ooh, I love the site! I want to start looking around it immediately (and will as soon as I’m done commenting). I’ve been eyeing her perfumes for a while…time to go scope it out!

On this moody and rainy English morning, my cup of coffee and I had the loveliest time browsing the Atelier site. What a joy! Easy to navigate, the postcard images are a dream and I can’t wait to explore Mandy Aftel’s brand. Lumiere and Fig seem like definite highlights – eager to try them! I also liked the wide array of, not just perfume, but also face elixirs and body/bath products. And tea! Glorious tea! Thank you for this competition and you have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
I loved all the possibilities for personalization, like the antique cases for solid perfume and the (of course, very expensive) personalized perfume option. Great attention to detail, as well. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
I’m really impressed with the thoughtfulness of the site’s design. It’s simplicity makes it so clear and easy to navigate while being beautiful. Quite impressive really. And the fragrances sound so interesting, if not a bit outside my budget 😉

What a nice give away! I recognized the name Aftelier but have never sought any of the perfumes out. Now that I’ve browsed the site, there are many that I would like to try. There is a lot of in depth information on natural perfumery on the site that I’m sure I’ll return to read. It is fairly easy to navigate, but something I’m missing is a way to search the products “by note” and not only by medium (liquid, solid, lotion etc). I too jumped at the price of the 2 ml minis but I understand the ingredients are top quality. Overall, I’m glad I got to know Aftelier a little better.
You may use the email address in my account if I win.
The postcards were a cute touch, but I thought the website could’ve been a little more polished. Maybe a slightly larger and more elegant typeface would help. The store buttons could be condensed into different categories under drop down menus like “Perfumes, Books, About Us.” A little editing goes a long way.

It seems to be a very simple and elegant site. I felt as though it was almost a personal web site which made me feel very comfortable and as though I had found a treasure or some hidden place full of exclusive artisanal crafts. Very nice.
And of course i give full permission to use my personal email!
The web site is very inviting and informative. It’s easy to find your way around and the postcards add a nice touch.
I enjoyed learning more about Aftelier – lots of temptations out there, the perfumed teas for example :).

Nice site! Warm and colorful, i like it.
I haven’t tried their frags, and i’d like to. The solids look very nice.

Nice website!
I have liked the images a lot, and the information given in each section is very useful.
I would have used paler colours and another typo, but that’s just my opinion 🙂
The personal fragrances seem wonderful. I’d love to try them. Thank you for this give-away!

A generally attractive website! My main criticism of it is that it only divides the products by product type. Some general listing of the various scents might be a helpful addition.
I’ve heard of this line (only good things), but haven’t tried any of its products.
This was my first exposure to the Aftelier line. Overall an attractive website. I’d like to see the Aftelier logo more prominently displayed at top of the page. Agree that a bit more polish would be nice as well. Lastly, perhaps it’s just me but I didn’t find a way to return to the home page without using the back button either.
Very interested in trying this line. Please enter me in the drawing. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
What a charming website! I have been so curious about this line and win or not, I will be sampling various scents. [But *fingers crossed* that I *will* win!] 🙂
“You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win”. Thanks for the opportunity!
I had visited the older site a couple of times; I really like the redesign. It’s much cleaner and inviting.
I do have two suggestions: first, the store, classes and about aftelier links compete size wise with the Aftelier Perfumes logo, I would perhaps take them down a wee bit; second, I would love to see all the products in each subcategory displayed on one page (e.g. the miniatures are spread onto two pages, if not paying attention someone might miss the second page of products). That said, Tango has been on my to try list for ages 😉 -You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
I’ve tried one of the Aftel scents, Cacao; someone sent me a few drops in a vial once. Didn’t love it.
Do love the new website, though; graphic, easy to maneuver through. The prices are kind of high (not outrageously so), but I really really like the sound of Trevert–the greener the better. I suppose I’ll have to order a few samples.

I do like the sample section- my only comment is that I would like a little more interactivity so that we can comment and so on.
I was fascinated by the Chef’s ingredients but wouldn’t know what to do with them advice and recipes would be welcome.

I like the antique pictures of France on the site. It’s well laid out and nicely categorised. The site has a slightly home-made feel, which is possibly what was aimed at, in keeping with the artisanal nature of the perfume. Mandy might consider upgrading the navbars and the text typeface to something slicker?
However, I would really love to try the famous Cepes et Tuberose!
Aftelier’s new site is very clean and spare; the contrast between the modern “minimalist” page designs and the vintage hand-tinted postcard images is charming. I’d love to try it out. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
I’m happy that the site is so much wider. Her old site was so scrunched up that it was hard to navigate. She now makes much better use of whitespace, making it much nicer to look at! I really would love to get to try one of her scents–I’ve been obsessed with her since reading E&A!

Nice site, I like the look of the old postcards, Wish I could stop by that store! I would love to win a sample, thanks!

The website is beautiful. I especially love the old postcard images she uses, and I love the idea of a perfume necklace, especially since naturals need to be applied more often. You have my permission to use the email address in my user account.
What I like most about the new website are the saturated colors of the vintage photos. The photos show perfume ingredients being harvested, and the saturation makes it feel like the scent of roses, iris, woods, and greens are wafting off the page, adding another dimension to the day.

Nice website, but nothing that makes it stand out. Love the idea of Mini’s. Set-up is fine. Nice to see them make a good effort and not just put up a site.
Hi, this is quite a user friendly site, I like that when you look at a scent it lets you know what other forms its available in. Interested to see the perfume pendants in person, perfume and jewellery in one, what could be better. The period drama style pictures are appealing, I love a period drama. Would probably try the cepes and tuberose, sounds interesting. I initally read that as Crepes and tuberose, and was equally interested.

Overall I like the website, the look and feel and content organization. I’m happy to know more about Aftelier and what they offer and the site lets me do that quite easily.
I agree with Tati’s comments about the alignment of the top navigation. I also think the font weight of some key navigation items could be a bit heavier. The left hand navigation items and the body copy headers are a bit wispy compared to rest of the content. I’m also not loving the italicized lower case top navigation (store, classes, about). I think a slightly heavier font treatment that was not italicized would work better with the logo.
One more QA item:
The right hand column on the samples page was cut-off, even on my big desktop monitor.

I like the site. It’s well-designed and easy to navigate. I really love the antique cases. So unique!

Love the new site! Easy to get around on. And those pendant’s are too cute!! I have never tried any of there perfumes before. But the pink lotus caught my eye! You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win. Thanks!
The old postcards and vintage colors are sweet in the new website. The organization makes a lot more sense now too. So Tango is my favorite Aftelier perfume so far, but I’d like to try Cepes et Tuberose or Pink Lotus. Would love to hear more about those.
Please enter me in the draw. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win. Thanks! I injoyed the site, and I think if I get something, it would be a solid perfume and a pendant for a gift, and a small bottle of parfum for myself….not sure about the scent, as they all sound very pretty.
It all looked reasonably clean and organized to me. I did notice that one thing was categorized…the photo showed something where the label didn’t match the product description (cardamon oil). like the samples page layout, but wanted to know the “ml” you were going to get. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
I like the new look, and the navigation on the left is good. I also like that they didn’t try to make it too slick or fall into the Flash trap..
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
What do I think of it?!?! Oolong tea with Frankincense? Essential oils for chefs??!!? Chocolate and saffron body oil?!?! It all sounds too delightful for words, and a very attractive website with a ‘homemade’ feel to it. Fingers crossed I actually win something for once!
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Thanks NST and Aftelier for the draw!
I didn’t know much about the line, so this was a nice opportunity to discover new fragrances.
A couple sound really intriguing (cepes et tubereuse…. hummm)
I liked the site layout, my only tiny issue was the time it takes to load the “1/4 Oz. Perfumes” page from the “liquid perfume” page. Apart from that, my browsing was smooth and pleasant.
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
I like! A nice selection of products, and I’m lemming after the heart pendants. As for the fragrances – tabac? Leather? Cognac? How could I ever choose?

Nice site! I especially like the old pictures of the flower fields and pickers.
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Oh dear, do you want the long or short version? I’m guessing short…
From a QA perspective, all seems well except for slow load time on a few of the pages (perhaps due to all of us crazed perfumaniacs clicking on Cepes & Tuberose?????) I was not able to reproduce Scent Red’s visual glitch on my MacBook Pro. Perhaps they’ve remedied the glitch already! I also feel the minicart feature is a little too inconspicuous. Anyone else getting that vibe? And although I am NOT a designer (I mean it; I’m clueless with graphics), I have to agree that the fonts could have more presence. Other than that, navigation is intuitive and I like the clean and open feel of the layout. I think I may need to test the cart and checkout protocols, you know, for QA’s sake…
Now to the fun stuff…I ADORE Cepes & Tuberose! My tiny sample is whittling away, so a mini may be in order. I also forgot completely that she sells her overstocked botanicals! I’m feeling a re-reading of Essence and Alchemy coming on. Does anyone have any experience with her face elixirs?
And as always, you have permission to use the email address in my user account
Perfumed teas sound wonderful. And I love the antique bottles. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Everything on there is beyond gorgeous. I’ve long lemminged the solid in Muse. I didn’t know about the minis though. You people are dangerous!
You can of course use my email to notify me. 🙂
Pretty site! I’d love the chance to try some of these.

I’ve always liked Aftelier. The new website is cute, but I liked the old one as well. Her Lumiere is fantastic!

Nice web site – easy to navigate and very well presented! I’ve never tried any aftelier products and would like to get a chance!
Oh, and, you have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Two comments on the front page: I would include a tagline or short sentence at the top that describes what Aftelier is/does (i.e. what the brand is), so that those who end up there through casual browsing have a reason to look more closely; and I would put the “contact” link at the top as well, because people often use websites specifically to find that.
I love the vintage postcard!
Other than that: you have my permission to use the email address in my user account if I win!
Looks like a great website! Simple, yet straightforward, things were easy to find, also had great artwork. Plus it loaded quickly, which is so nice as I still have dial-up! 🙂 I would be excited about trying any of their products.

Beautiful! So well laid out and easy to navigate. And I looked at everything! I got so caught up I almost forgot to come back here and post for the drawing! lol I’m fascinated by the Chef’s Essences. I love the perfume pendants and the antique cases. I am most definitely going to have to order the GABA Oolong tea with the finest hojary frankincense. *swoon!* Several of the minis are calling my name, too! Many thanks to Aftelier for the giveaway opportunities!

I have been dying to try their perfume ever since I read about it in a magazine about 6 years ago as the hot new celeb perfume ( think the celeb was madonna and maybe the magazine was vogue! I bet their classes, workbooks, and oil kit would be amazing! I love that they will teach you how to make scents and actually sell the oils and botanicals…. I think it is super cool that yoga + joyful living magazine did a review on their perfume, I adore yoga!!! Pair yoga with natural perfume and its a win win for me. I love scents like fig, cacao, tuberose and linden…There aren’t enough linden scents…I used to have fresh’s linden back in the day. I would love to sniff their chocolate saffron oil….yummmmm!!! I should order a sample, actually I should order many samples!!! I love sites that offer a good sample program…would love to see a sample bundle. And the color of the trevert is georg! I also love those antique cases! I just added her books to my reading list….and I love this line ” It is my hope that people have a feeling of luxury, well-being, beauty and excitement when they wear Aftelier Perfumes.” Who doesn’t need a little luxury, well-being and beauty…..I know I could use it! I think Mandy’s site is GREAT and very user friendly!
Oh and clearly you have my blessed permission to use my email and freedom to contact me if I am sooooo lucky!!!!!!!!
Oh, I wish I had $1,100.00 to blow! (Or at least a few hundred.) Though the perfumes are expensive, at least you can sample pretty much anything (even solids!) so you know what you are getting yourself into!
“You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win”.
I like the vintage photos, and it’s interesting that there are so many things besides perfumes on the site–the antique cases, teas, workbooks for those who are seriously wanting to learn about natural perfume. Overall very easy to navigate, and I’d love to try more of these fragrances.

A very easy to navigate site! Of course, she had me at “Perfumed teas.” Jasmine and mint, anyone?

Lovely website, and very easy to navigate– always a bonus for computer-challenged me. I haven’t tried any of her fragrances, but they all sound enticing, and I like that there are minis available. I really want that Trevert!
“You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win”. (Yes, I just cut and pasted that.)
nice site–I like that she has mini sizes. That makes it so much easier to give things a try. Lovely heading…

The site is easy to navigate, but I do agree that it has a “homemade” rather than professional look about it. Maybe that’s what they’re going for – I don’t know. The prices on those minis are kind of outrageous though – $30 for 2ml?
the picture of the women harvesting looks like a French impressionist painting to me 🙂
I love the 1/4 oz perfume bottles, veery nice.
In case I win, which I don’t assume,
“You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win”.
I thought the fonts on the left hand menu were hard to read. Not sure if it’s size, color or type of font but I had to increase my browser display.
I like that there is a link to samples from 2 separate links on the home page. Ordering samples directly from the perfume’s description page is always a plus. However, it would be helpful to have a link to each scent’s description from the samples page. Would make it almost like an express checkout but you could double check the scent if you weren’t 100% sure.
Would be great to have a link to the retail outlets easier to find.
I always like to see information on payment options BEFORE I add to my cart (e.g. types of credit cards accept, GPal, Paypal). Shipping rates are also helpful to see ahead of time.
That said, I haven’t tried anything from Aftelier and several sounded quite interesting so looks like I’ll be dropping a few bucks along the way!
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Very pretty website, easy to navigate. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win. Thank you!
I love the purple and green colors together, but I thought the website could have been more colorful still. When I first clicked on the website, I thought my slow internet was still loading the page and that’s why the background was white. I had read the comments here on NST before going to the website, and I was expecting a more distinct purple and green color scheme that was eye-catching, instead it was pretty, but a bit plain. If it was up to me, I’d have a coloured background.
I really like the font used for “store classes about aftelier” at the top, and I’d have used that same font for the categories on the left-hand side as well. I would also move “samples checkout” down to join the other categories (liquid perfumes solid perfumes etc) as it would make navigation easier. Also, “samples” is listed twice (at the top, and on the left) which doesn’t do much to streamline navigation.
I think the FAQ should also be moved to the top, as I don’t usually pay much attention to the very bottom of the page, or bother to scroll down at all. As a resident of Europe, the first thing I look for is shipping and payment information, and I usually find it fairly quickly on most websites. Perhaps here that should also be moved to the top, instead of at the bottom in the FAQ section that you’ve got to click on to see the reply.
The “store” category up top confused me: I clicked and got the same links I could already browse and see before on the left.
I’m a sucker for good ad copy, and I found some of the product info to be far too brief to allow my imagination to run wild. Cacao, for example, is described in a single sentence. But how is it made, what are the top, middle and bottom notes, what are the ingredients used? Since this is natural perfumery, I think all that would be interesting.
The bottles, I feel, should be photographed ‘en face,’ and not slightly from the top, so the logo can be better seen and the shape of the bottle shown off. There shouldn’t be any glare from windows on the bottle pics.
I remember the old website, as I browsed through it after reading the list “100 Fragrances Every Perfumista Should Try.” If I recall, it was more colorful and slightly prettier, but the new one is sleeker and easier to navigate.
I’ve been wanting to try Cepes & Tuberose for awhile, curious how mushrooms and florals would smell like together. So I was happy to see a sample can now be had on the new website for $6. If I remember correctly, on the old website there were only ‘sample packs’ available and they were too expensive for me to think about ordering for experiment’s sake.
Didn’t the original website say there was a store in Berkeley? That was a nice piece of info that gave me a picture of where the real Aftelier was and came from, but I couldn’t find that info anywhere on the new site…

I very much like Aftelier’s Amber. The site is outstanding! You have my permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
I like the simplicity of the design, the images of paintings, and that it loads quickly. I have not tried any Afelier fragrance, but I am very intrigued by Tango. It probably has something to do with how much I enjoy listening to Piazzolla in addition to the smokiness of the fragrance.

The site has an old-fashioned, homey feel but is modern in every other way. It is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. I had heard of Aftelier but have never tried any of the fragrances. After being on their site, I would definitely like to try some of them. I also like the look of the bottles. This was a good opportunity to check out their offerings.

The website is great! Very easy to maneuver. Love those antique watches. I have not had the pleasure but would much like to try Cepes and Tuberose and Lumiere. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
It’s a nice web site, though I have my usual reaction to the long list of fragrances: how in the world do I even know what to try??? Perhaps the Cepes and Tuberose is the most attractive to me judging from the notes only, but it’s hard to know.

I like it – clean, easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for…..the new Trèvert Eau de Parfum Spray sounds wonderful!!!!!
Please enter me into the drawing and you have my permission to use my email address.
Thanks!
Wow, I’ve never looked into Aftelier perfumes before- didn’t know what I was missing! I don’t think I saw a single perfume that didn’t sound amazing and interesting. I think Parfum de Maroc, Tango, Fig, and Cacao look the best, though. I’m glad they do samples! I think the most unique thing on their website is their perfumed teas- has anyone here tried them? Are they as good as they look?
(You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win)
I had never been to the Afterlier website until the other day when ScentHive had a similar drawing! I had some comments there, but will try to come up with something new since I am dying to try these fragrances (and will surely get some samples if I don’t win).
I think that a page that lists all the various fragrances, the notes and formulations that are available (EdT, oil, solids, minis, etc.) with links to each item would be great. That way you wouldn’t have to click on each item to see what the frgrance is about adn also know if it was available in other forms.

Nice site, it’s uncluttered and easy to navigate. I like the use of large pictures to give air & space on the pages. I think the logo should be larger, it feels too “boxed in” the way it is displayed now.
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Wow, there’s a lot to see and I like it when it is all so well organized.
Congratulations on the new website.
I have had Mandy’s book (translated into Italian) on my wishlist for months. If I get to try one of her perfumes, that would be definitely a reason to move it to my to-buy-list, hehe.
“You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win”
The graphics are pretty snazzy and the content is interesting. I don’t care for the font, looks less polished (is it times new?). The shopping card integration is very smooth and impressive, though it might be easy to miss/fail to locate the mini-cart, as it is small-ish and on the left.
I haven’t tried Aftelier perfumes, but they sound wonderful!
Ooops, forgot to add You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win
It`s a nice site i agree with odonata about not having to click around so much for information about the scent.I love the pendants and antique cases.

Hmm. I read her book and got a feeling of serenity and warmth, and I don’t really get this feeling with the web site. Perhaps it is the white background? It seems very well laid out, and somewhat sterile in parts. I find it functional, but the experience is kind of like shopping on drugstore.com. I’d love to see some warmer colors–keep the simplicity but give it a bit more visual depth and texture.

Very nice site.
I really like the various, vintage French postcards when you click the different links. It appeals to the old soul in me. I also like that their products/service are broken up for easy navigation. I am glad that they offer a variety of samples so that you can choose wisely before making a commitment. The Fig and Parfum de Maroc scents are calling my name and yes, you have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Thank you!
The first thing I did was click the “samples” link at the top of the page. How awesome that she sells samples of all her different products/formulations (including solid perfumes, oils, etc.)! Also love that the FAQ has a chart showing which perfumes are “easiest to like” and “more complicated” or challenging! Great concept. My only complaint is that the font is a little hard to read online.
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
I think the website picture postcards are beautiful and relaxing, and the bottles and packaging for the perfumes are all lovely, though I especially love those pendants. I don’t know whether the site is experiencing problems or this is just the way it is, but I see no copy describing any of the fragrances, just the names, which certainly are not sophisticated enough to reflect the compositions. Even Mandy’s brief description of cepes & tuberose contained in the review on NST would do. I hope that’s just a temporary problem, because that even more than the prices would deter me from really exploring the scent offerings. I don’t want to bounce between reviews on other sites and the product on perfumer’s website just to find out what’s what, so this approach really only works for me if I’m going there for one thing in particular (in which case my wallet is grateful that I’m not more enticed by other offerings). However, Mandy Aftel herself is so accomplished; this peek at the website has me further interested in her books and other work, more technically interested in natural perfumery than I thought I could be.

Oh those heart shaped pendants are delicious! Will be heading over for some samples of Fig Essence and Parfum de Maroc …

LOVE the new website, I have spent many hours looking and looking at the Aftelier website the last few months, scared to order samples in case I loved them, my poor credit card! But the Pink Lotus sounds like a perfect fit for me!!

Just checked out the website. Very nice! I’ve never tried any, but the linden blossom one sounds lovely!

Overall it’s lovely – I like the vintagey look and feel. Some details seemed a little rough around the edges, but the products sound beautiful. I wish I had a few hundred dollars to try them!!!!

Its a real easy to navigate, non cluttered site with pretty pictures too.
I’ve lusted after her Cassis for some time, and now I need her Cepes and Tuberose and some chef’s essences. How about a ylang and jasmine scented flan, yum. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win. Thanks so much.
I’m loving the new website – very spare-looking while still being easy on the eye and whimsical..
I remember loving Shiso best when I tried her perfumes for the first time 3 years ago..I would love to re-try Tango though..

I like the layout. It’s really clean and uncluttered. Sadly (for me), I also like the look of Parfum Prive… You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win
Many thanks
Dear NST,
the website was nice, very functional and clean, if somewhat unexciting. Perhaps the type font could be reconsidered, as it is more suitable for body text and in print form.
The perfumes were described beautifully, I got quite excited about the solid perfumes and the whole line in general. I would love to try some!
The best thing was the availability of samples in the whole range of goods. Very good idea!

My husband gifted me with Essence and Alchemy this past Christmas and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I recall there were several fragrances and bath oils that interested me….

inspiring. the cassis and tuberose sound perfect
and the chocolate saffron body oil sounds delectable

Oh dear. They have teas…delightful sounding teas, my other sensory weakness. And Lumiere sounds gorgeous…and body products…and samples…there goes my summer bonue pay…But if I win a mini, that will help! I live in the United States and you may use my e-mail address for this site.
Ohhhh my god!!! What a beautiful picture right when You enter the website! Looks like a traditoonal coutryside from Europe! Also I love the huge selection of products! I will be shopping there as soon as I get my paycheck, I love the whole perfumed tea collection, I am a huge tea drinker, I will be trying their Earl Grey Gui Fei Oolong first. I would love to sample their perfumes as well. I love that we can choose from liquid, solid fragrances and the essences. Has anyone tried any of Aftelier products yet? I am very curious. Also thank you for a wonderful opportunity, Robin!
Also You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win. I hope I do, because I love trying new perfumes!!! Thanks so much, Robin!
What a fabulous site! Like others, I am drawn to both the teas and the perfumes. I also like the solid perfume offerings for traveling (so much easier to get through an airport). The site is as consumer-friendly as possible with miniatures and must haves. I also love the opportunity to have your purchase put into an antique container. What a marvelous purchase or gift for anyone. I live in the US and you may use my email address for this drawing if I win. Thank you again.
Nice, user-friendly website. I tried one of two of these scents a few years ago and really liked them

I’ve tried Aftelier Tango before and I would love to try some more of her scents. The website was colorful and easy to navigate. You have permission to use the email address in my account if I win.
Green and purple is a great colour scheme. Along with white, these were the colours chosen by the suffragette movement in the UK Green symbolised hope, purple – dignity and white – purity. I make jewellery often with this colour combination! The Aftelier site is easy to navigate and informative. The products are covetable, particularly the watch cases filled with solid perfume. I wantIwantIwant!!! You have my permission to use the email address in my user account if I am lucky enough to win.
I thought the handcolored postcards, antique watch fobs and other paraphernalia at the Web site conveyed much about Aftelier’s sensibility and aesthetic and were nicely in keeping with the company’s San Francisco Bay Area location. It seems as if Ms. Aftel wants to paint a scentual picture of the gorgeous, fog-filtered light and Victorian “Painted Lady” architecture of that area, which I love so well.

I really like the color scheme and the artwork – it seems to match! It’s much better than before, too. I own a partial mini of Parfum de Maroc and love it muchly. 🙂 Would love to own another one, so please enter me into the drawing. Thanks! And you have permission to use my email address if I win.
I like the artwork a lot. I really want to try the solid perfumes!

I am not familiar with this line so I am now quite excited to try it! I really liked what I saw of their philsophy. The colour scheme, the handcolouring and watch cases are all very evocative of a time gone by when quality and pride of craftmanship were truly valued. I am now in love with several of the watch cases and and would quite like to try both Lumiere and Parfum de Maroc – they both sound gorgeous. I am also intrigued by the Chef’s Essences as my brother is a chef who loves scent. I see a birthday gift from Aftelier in his future!
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I am fortunate enough to win.
I love the descriptions of their fragrances, the ingredients, it looks and sounds delicious and their new site looks really fine! I have never tried one of them, but ever since I have read about these fragances, I want to try them. But it’s hard to find them here in Holland. Their site is nice, open and you feel welcom when you visit the website. You can find what you want real quick and that’s real nice!
What a beautiful new website! Very easy to navigate….the only Aftelier I’ve ever tried is Tango…..I’d love to try more! Oh I hope I win!!
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win 🙂
About Aftelier Perfumes… I can only afford to do samples, but a tiny drop of a sample of Aftelier is worth a whole big bottle of any synthetic perfume to me. After trying to craft perfume out of individual natural essences myself, with some rather stinky results, I have a great admiration for Aftel’s work. My favorite that I have tried is Boronia, which smells to me like the romanticized woods of my childhood, earthy yet ethereal. I also loved Tango, a smoky, sultry, liquory symphony. If you are interested in natural perfumery and haven’t read Mandy Aftel’s Essence and Alchemy yet, check it out! ( You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win)
Beautiful web site! You are giving a lot of “real estate” to the big picture. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win. Thanks!
I forgot to comment on the new website! The best things about it are the beautiful new images and the organized layout. I do miss having a centralized place to read the descriptions of each of the scents, regardless of whether it is liquid, solid, or perfume oil, and the only small complaint I have is that there are some samples (Linden Blossom, for example) that come up on the search, but aren’t listed on the samples page. I’m sure those kinks will be worked out soon!
the new web is cool, and also that now you can buy the samples is a nice move. I’d love to win one of the minis, please enter my name in the draw. And you have permission to use my email address.
I’ve always been very curious about these perfumes and the website is a great intro to them, lots of info, easy to navigate, nice visuals.

Thanks!
What an improvement to the Aftelier site. Finding information is now much easier, and as a result, lemmings are created! I have an overwhelming need to sniff Cepes and Tuberose.
In addition, Mandy’s photo on her About page cracks me up! She sweetly appears to be asking “And…what else do you want from me?”

Ooh, Aftelier. Not had the pleasure to try any yet, but they’ve been on my “to try” list long since.

Re: the site! I can’t compare to the old site, never been or can’t recall.
I like: the use of vintage photos, the logo (clean lines, colours, all lovely), the organized left content bar, the obvious artisan pride in the process of creating perfumes that emanates from the text, overall navigation, the “must haves” section.
Unsure about:
-The “store” button on top. I had expected to be directed to a page with information about a brick and mortar shop (mainly because the web shop is so clearly accessible through the left content bar – another link to the same web shop products seems confusing and redundant)
-The two “bars” on top of the website, a white one and a purple one. It might make for a cleaner look if all the buttons up top were located in one bar, in the same font (perhaps save the “cart” button).
– On my monitor (ancient) the site doesn’t fit the screen properly. I have to scroll left & right to get the full view. I don’t know if there’s any way to accommodate all screen sizes though.
– The photo on the landing page, though pretty, dominates too much of the screen IMO. Nixing it or making it smaller would direct attention towards the products better, especially for casual browsers.
What I’d love to see added:
-I’d suggest merging the nice content bar with the store button above, maybe in a roll-down menu? Then again, that way it would be less instantly obvious where the products are. Maybe play around with it a bit.
-I’d love to see more generous descriptions of the fumes reflecting that same artisan pride that’s so obvious in other parts.
-The landing page could do with a short, catchy summary of what Aftelier is and why Casual Browser (TM) needs to stick around and prepare to be amazed.
-Perhaps adding a “news” section (if that’s not too much work in website upkeep of course); it would emphasize the personal and artisanal nature of the company if you’d offer sneak peeks at future developments, new packaging, new products etc.
Eesh, I didn’t realise that was such a novel. Apologies!
All the necessary information is there, but it looks like they just plopped it into a standard template in some free software download for webpages. There is no creativity to this site, and looks like very little effort went into making it. For the prices they are charging they could have easily hired a web developer and graphic artist to employ something eye-catching and original. This site is bland and boring. The technology is out there, use it. You want an example of a well designed fragrance website, go look at thedifferentcompany.com or nezanez.net.

I like the fact that they have links to their Facebook and Twitter accounts. Now I can follow their tweets and follow news via Facebook. This social networking should be a great way to keep in touch with customers and let us know about upcoming events.
It is totally cool that she is in Berkeley. I am just across the bay from her.
I am viewing the site with Firefox 3.5.10.
I do think the logo should be larger and/or better centered vertically.
I need to save up to get a custom fragrance.

Ahh…. I’ve heard so many great things about this line, but frankly I’ve avoided it due to cost. I have to say I’m head over heels for the French inkwell bottles.
Website was very easy to navigate and very clearly laid out. I would have preferred a very soft background color rather than the white though – maybe a dove gray?
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Interesting…I was not familiar with this line. I would like to try “Tango” and am interested in the chef’s essences. Has anyone tried them? Of course you can use my registered email if I have won. thanks Robin.
The Aftelier website is one I will definitely have to explore. I was excited to read that they have samples for a most reasonable amount. The artwork is very catchy too! You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win. I definitely hope I am a winner! Thank you.
I have a set of the minis, Pink Lotus, Cacao, and Maroc: I bought this probably 5 or 6 years ago from beautyhabit, and I still have a little of each remaining, and it still smells lovely 🙂 So really, even though 2 ml is small, this is concentrated stuff that lasts about for-ever! When you look at it that way, $45 does not seem so bad…My favorite is the Pink Lotus (that’s the one she originally designed for Madonna).
I think the new website is easier to navigate, and I love the clear photos and the single-page for sample orders. I do agree that a more complete description of the perfumes would be a good thing, though: the current short descriptions don’t really tell us all they could.
I have wanted to try the Fig for a long time, as I am a fig junkie. So: “You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win”.
Somehow I had missed this line. The website was easy to navigate and attractive. There are several fragrances I’ll have to put on my list to try. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win. Thanks for another great giveaway!
I’m tempted by the absolutes! I don’t know what the old site looked like, but the new one is quaint, has a grassroots feel to it.

Someone should be credited for that fabulous photo on the top page! Anyone curious as I am where and what blossoms they are collecting?
The site is very user-friendly. Everything was easy to navigate through, and the different areas are clearly marked. I found it very utilitarian, and would personally like to see a little bit more in the way of graphic design/aesthetics, but it’s just a matter of personal taste. I do like the color schemes!! 🙂 Sadly I have yet to try any Aftelier perfumes, but would really love to win one of the miniatures!! 🙂
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win. Thank you for holding the give-away!!!! 🙂
I really love the pictures of the historical perfumers and the color scheme. The entire site is laid out so well! I’d love to try a perfume so I hope I win! You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Very cool website. I never saw the original but the photos on this one are done interestingly. I would like to try some of the scents, also, maybe a few samples.
I’ve never posted a comment but I love and am addicted to your blog (not to mention perfume)!
You have my permission to use the email address in my user account if I win. Thank you!
What a great idea!
The site is very user-friendly, only thing I’d say is it’s not all that eye-catching. I don’t mean this at all offensively, but it looks like a high schooler in an advanced computer class could have made it. Maybe throw in some intersting design concepts, and I think you’d have a great site!
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
first of all the firsts,we all must know that based on buttons available in Aftelier website;it is safe to say that Mandy Aftel is a very sophisticated perfumer who also seems to be glad to share anything that have been accumulated in her nose towards the thought of others.
Having said that,i must say that this website, while must be applauded for having real effort in putting its concentration towards navigation at utmost ease is a somehow, downward execution when it comes to consider the subtlety of fragrances;what more of Aftel Mandy’s who even be acknowledged by Vogue in this year’s January issue as a,”..one of the fragrance industry’s most creative thinkers, not to mention one of its most prolific talents.”
What I really think is that the website developer should maintain the web’s operational framework and at the same time canvas it with more appealing lay out…and more interaction please.a button-clicked-go to-next page-geocities-like era are way gone what sickening me most is that it is certainly not doing justice to Mandy Aftel now and don’t think it will do for upcoming times.
So sorry if my statement above are hard-bitten words that would be going to nail or pierce any innocent heart i must stress out there is importance of such people like Francis Kurkdjian, Sissel Tolass and for surely Mandy Aftel herself to the shape of society’s direction that have been going for longest years with elegance silence and prime subtlety and we should at least,if not with apprehended knowledge of perfumery, honor them with superlatively designed website. I don’t know about others who gave out positive responses but I am going to stick to my mind, and my gut for now.thank you.
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win
hey its me again, after a while,i am seriously think about how a website could capitalise perfumery brands.i think perfume is intangible although it could be contained in various bottle shapes.its name itself, originated by latin’s “per fumus”(through smoke) would invite most of us lured into labyrinth of complicated sophistication that goes with time and space;perhaps beyond them.
it is with that characteristics and the innovation of mandy aftel’s Aftelier products herself plus the original lay-out which seems to more towards the appreciation of fragrances at its highest sense,i felt that i should at least give some suggestion on what should perfume’s website interface should be.
i think that mandy’s website should be fronted with a colour wheel-like perfume chart(one that this blog used to covered) which list all the four families whether there are floral, woody, fresh or oriental and in the middle of it,there is a roll-down bar which consist all of afterlier’s products.whenever users pick one of the products, the wheel chart will move based on fragrance notes;base, middle and top.if users want more information of the products, they just could click the picture of products and the information will pop out without have to change other pages.
at right side of the website.there should be an update of Afterlier and Mandy’s doing whether its a tweet,a simple blog or any short news.at the left, mandy could list more fixed items like her books or maybe her classes updates.
i think the overall website should be coloured charcoal black as there would vibrant colours from the wheel.any bars at the right and left of the website should be coloured more lighter, grey is appropriate for more prominent black.and all bars could be outlined with purplish pink to make the all content in the bars stand out.be noted, that this is only my suggestive colours but still there is gradiency that could be applied any sort of colour ranges.i assume mandy would prefer floral-like colours.fine, natural colours like green and pink or vermilion are perfectly fit to colorful perfume charts.
i am sending this message and the other one not really because of wanting Aftelier’s products although god knows how happy i am with her products in my hand.i am from malaysia, keen in high end olfactology and horology and these products are always expensive.from that note,i must stress that i at least always handle these two factors in highest appreciation.not to stir more troubles,i found that most positive comments from commentator are not helping and worse, could be luring Afterlier to the back in the era of internet.this is the website that would be showcasing Mandy Aftel’s products!!!
and that’s about it.
You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Oh I have one of the scents and would love to indulge myself with another by winning.
Very fine site. Oh I can’t wait!
Merci,
FOG
I’m not wowed by the design, but it has plenty of info in an easy-to-navigate layout and loads fast, and frankly that’s enough for me! My biggest quibble is that I’d like to know the sizes of the samples (the site says only that they’re “small”). I’m totally intrigued by the chef’s essences, although the thought of adding ylang ylang (not my favorite note) to my food turns my stomach!

Like others, the design isn’t anything to get excited about, but it was really easy to navigate! I haven’t tried any of their fragrances (yet), but I hope to soon!

I like the website, the vintage postcards give it a lush feel yet everything is very user friendly. Love the look of the perfume bottles and solids also. Thanks for the chance to try these, the descriptions sound wonderful.

Wow, very cool!
I like the Aftelier site, it’s easy to navigate and I thought the tinted photos were nice. The product pictures are clear and very inviting. However, it’s not a “artistic” as I would have expected it to be.
I had no idea that Mandy Aftel wrote a book about Brian Jones! That was the last thing I expected to find out about her.

nice layout for the website, i sort of like the perfumed teas as well as the prive line which i cannot wait to sample, also i am curious to sample the mint and vetiver body oil
Ooh! I’m very interested in the perfumes AND the chefs’ essences. If I were to win, please do use my e-mail address.
Thanks!
I haven’t tried any Afterlier perfumes before (though I’ve certainly heard of them). Now I’m definitely interested in giving them a try. I think the teas and chef essences sound very interesting! I should get me a nice batch of samples now to figure out where to start..
Even though the site looks good in general, my main comment is about the grouping of the perfumes. Instead of being grouped by format (1/4 Oz. Perfumes, Miniatures, Eau de Parfum, etc.) I wish they had been grouped by fragrance (which is what we as perfume lovers care more about), and underneath that all formats available of that fragrance can be listed. Also, on the sample page, I wish each name would link back to the page describing the fragrance.
I always forget to do this… You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
Mandy’s new website does seem easier to navigate than before — I certainly clicked around to new areas that I hadn’t discovered previously. I love the idea of the perfumed teas, and perhaps one day will try them out.

I really do not have $1100 just laying around that couldn’t be put to better uses to simply drop on a custom perfume, but that is so tempting. While I’ve never tried any of their perfumes before, I have heard about them and would love to try their minis.

I like this line and the site is nice. Like a commenter above said, it might be nice if the products were grouped by fragrance instead of by bottle size. Also, I think it would be a bit easier to navigate if the sidebar of links on the left produced a drop-down list of subcategories when you click one. E.g., if you click on the Face and Body Care section, the subcategories within that section would display below it. So that if I’m interested in, say, both the body oils and the bath oils, I don’t have to navigate backward to get from one to the other.

It’s a beautiful site — love the pioneer-themed art for July! And I love the antique cases… very steampunky. You have permission to use the email address in my user account if I win.
I enjoyed checking out the new Aftelier website. The mini trio looks like a good deal if you pick the spendier choices AND use the 10% coupon that’s currently advertised.

I love the new website! It is very easy to navigate, and I like that it’s easy to find mini sizes and samples. In fact, it’s one of the most user friendly fragrance sites I’ve come across. The mini sizes are brilliant, and at $30 they make a great little indulgence! My only request would be to offer a deal on multiple samples (say 5 or more, or to offer them in sets so that people like me who are new to the line can try several scents at once), and possibly to include more information about the scents themselves and their notes. I’m happy to find such a great site, and the silver solid compacts are truly lovely.

Oh please please please pick me I would love to try Aftelier. The website is beautiful and makes my heart yearn to smell all of the perfumes. I do not own any natural fragrances but recently I have become more and more curious and am interested in learning about naturals. I suppose I have been hesitant to try natural perfumes because of the fear of smelling like the Enchanted Herbs and Oils store I used to frequent in my youth, where the owner once tried to talk me into a bath with his wife to cleanse the dirty spots from my aura. Aftelier please help me get acquainted with good stuff. I would love to try the Fig Perfume or Blond Tabac. And of course you have my permission to use the email listed on my profile should I win the drawing. Thank you so much!
The shopping functions on the site are very sharp. The photos on the first main pages I don’t like so much, but that’s my personal preference; the photos look very similar to French country toile fabric depictions. And that makes sense given their selection of tabacco scents. The photos of the products are great as well. But I do wish they described the fragrances in a bit more detail.

toomuchstufftoomuchstufftoomuchstuff. Sort of a visual sensory overload. They have a LOT of Stuff. I’m drawn to the fig scent, and the pine-green scent. But seriously, I couldn’t work my way through the site. There’s just Too Much Stuff.
I likethe new site much better than the old site. It is clean, neat and easy to use. It looks professional with just the right amount of color. I wish she had a bit more of a description of her perfumes. I love that you can buy the samples individually now instead of in threes. It costs a little less and you can get the samples you want. Appreciating the discount too, just need to decide what I want now. Thanks for the giveaway.

I love the new site– very well organized. I found things I hadn’t found before (Mary Aftel’s book was one of the reasons that I fell in love with the hobby of perfume collection, so I spent my early days oogling her wares). It’d be hard to say what I’d pick if I won… I think I’d pull back out the book and reconsider based on her notes about the different notes. Though the fig is calling my name. And the Lumiere.

I like the site; it has a clear layout, good information and pics, and a range of other products besides just perfume that I adore and are unique (silver flasks and containers from Mexico? SO WANT. Especially the antique silver case with jade top… *sigh) . However, I’ve noticed the site has some dispay problems in Opera 10 (if you click on an item for more info, the text blurb on the next page is partially cut off/obscured and doesn’t display properly until the user chooses to view another pic from the accompanying picture selection), and this is purely imho, but the layout of the site is vaguely reminiscent of some scamware sites, spyware/adware pushing sites, and fradulent merchandise/scam sites I’ve run across oer the years; I think it’s just the way the white space is used as well as the purple bar across the top, or my own personal mood right now. Otherwise, it is a very beautiful, easy to navigate, informative site.
There is a wonderfully personal and intimate feel to the Aftelier site, it really seems like the next best thing to visiting the shop. I must say, I’m taken with the antique cases and the solid perfumes, and I am pretty sure I’m going to try the Rose, Sandalwood and Frankincense Face Elixir. Skincare is probably my biggest weakness/sickness. Additionally, Lumiere, Blond Tabac, Perfume de Marac and Shiso must be mine!

odonata9 said what I was going to re: master list of all fragrances. Exploring the site is fun and all, but a concise list of what’s available with handy access to detailed descriptions would make me more confident I’m not missing anything.
Other than that it looks great! I love the pendants and the teas and and and… I especially like that there’s info on getting samples in multiple easy-to-find places, plus a handy link to “Add sample to cart” on each product page. I’m pretty sure I will be getting some use out of /that/ 🙂

I always loved the idea of Aftelier and I always wanted to have Tango (you know, I love Tango and I am so curious about this one).
Time to time I would check the website. The new one is just beautiful.
But it is a great idea to remind us of Aftelier this way. The truth is that there is so much going on in niche parfumerie, so much to catch up with, that sometimes you can forget about some if you are not reminded.
So, I’m on, hoping to win and have my sample of Tango!
I quite like the new site, very sleek and easy to navigate. Loving the color scheme, very in-tune wth the brand.

I didn’t get to see Aftelier’s old website so I can’t compare to that but I think the current website feels easy to use and navigate. Graphics-wise I’m not sure about the purple text on white background though.
