From Hamburg-based grooming brand Brooklyn Soap Company, The Woods, developed by perfumer Mark Buxton: "Sensual times two. From Murdock London, Black Tea Body Wash: "A sulfate-free liquid gel body wash that gets straight to work on skin. Featuring an invigorating boost of black tea, this body wash cleans without stripping the skin, while leaving notes of spice and wood behind." 500 ml for $34 at Nordstrom.
Ectoplasm (above left), new-ish from Lush, is really tempting even though I don't love their Shower Cream formula: "Lather up with this electric green cream packed with cocoa butter and almond oil to get spookily-soft skin. An invigorating combination of grapefruit, tangerine and mandarin orange conjure a sharply sweet aroma that'll shock you back to life. Get it before it leaves this dimension." Or, I'll wait for Cinders (above right) to get to the US: "Balls are overrated anyway; the party's in your shower with this sweet and spicy concoction of Brazilian orange oil, ginger, nutmeg and allspice powders and what better way to keep the magic alive than with skin-softening maple syrup?"
