A pretty, pretty, pretty new bottle of Shalini Parfum Iris Lumière: the Aurora flacon. "Shalini Parfum is pleased to announce the launch of The Aurora flacon on May 2023, a limited edition flacon for Iris Lumière, the fifth fragrance in the collection of the opulent Pure Parfums De Extraits. This series is created with Master Perfumer Maurice Roucel and is inspired by the Moods and Passions of the soul." $1,100 (oops! and it's probably going to evaporate through that bulb atomizer anyway) for a signed and numbered (11 were made) 100 ml Parfum at Saks.

By my count, the fourth model from Guerlain honoring the 170th birthday of the bee bottle (see Maison Matisse Couleur Bonheur, Bouquet de la Mariée Murano edition, Reve d’Amour Nadine Kanso edition, and that’s not counting this year’s Cherry Blossom or Muguet editions): Bee Garden, a 100% upcycled* fruity floral with rhubarb, bergamot, jasmine, rose, neroli, cedar, sandalwood and black tea.
The 1 liter bottle will run you €60,000, assuming you can get your hands on it…

In case your mom likes Clinique Happy, the Mom Vibes limited edition: "Give your mom Happy vibes. For Mother's Day, gift an exclusive, limited-edition Clinique Happy fragrance bottle featuring a colorful, floral illustration by award-winning artist Sol Cotti. It's one of a kind, just like your mom." $87 for 50 ml at Macy's.
The daily lemming
Yet another spendy number from Guerlain to honor the 170th birthday of the bee bottle, although this one came out before the one I posted on Friday, and this one features a new fragrance: Reve d’Amour (a festival of white flowers" with mandarin, petitgrain, benzoin, cedar and ambrette), in a bottle from Lebanese designer Nadine Kanso, featuring the word "Love" in Swarovski-crystal-and 24-karat-gold-gilded calligraphy. 30 were made, 1 liter for £13,500.
And meanwhile, this year's Muguet is now available on the Guerlain website, $750.

An(other) extravaganza from Guerlain to honor the 170th birthday of the bee bottle: Bouquet de la Mariée in the Murano edition from glassmaker Aristide Najean. The flacon “incorporates sculptural flowers flecked with 24-karat gold, delicately arranged to appear as though they are pouring out of the flacon; like with the original iteration, golden bees adorn the exterior. The center of the bottle displays the date April 30, 1853 — the day the bee bottle was born”.
If you can come up with $27,000 by the 1st of May, one of the ten could be yours…
