L’Artisan Parfumeur has launched La Cérémonie de l'Encens, a new fragrance.
La Cérémonie de l'Encens, composed by Mathilde Bijaoui, is an ode to olibanum incense: this mystical fragrance balances a pairing of pepper and cedarwood.
"Inspired by kōdō, the Japanese art of incense appreciation, this fragrance is an invitation to rediscover the richness of incense in a new light." Mathilde Bijaoui
Additional notes include hinoki.
L’Artisan Parfumeur La Cérémonie de l'Encens is available in 75 Eau de Parfum, $305.

This sounds promising!
I guess, although it’s a pretty sparse description? Maybe it wasn’t enough to tempt me.
Also no explanation of why it’s in the bottle for that botanic series when it doesn’t seem to be part of the series.
Hopefully better than Jo Malone’s tribute to kodo.
Hopefully.
