Creed has launched Fragaria, a new fragrance for women.
Fragaria is the new women's fragrance from The House of Creed inspired by sun-kissed strawberry fields...
A quintessential symbol of British summers, this fleshy and juicy fruit is a veritable explosion of color and euphoria evoked by The House of Creed through a fresh and joyful composition that recalls carefree moments immersed in nature.
Fragaria opens with top notes of bergamot, mandarin and pink pepper that introduce a juicy heart of strawberry intertwined with a violet accord that gives it a talcum-like nuance. Base notes of vetiver and cedarwood give warmth to the entire fragrance, leaving a vaguely nostalgic trail.
Creed Fragaria is available in 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

I saw a link recently to an article purporting to show that the newest trend this year in perfumes will be gourmand fragrances, and I suppose with this strawberry scent Creed is right on the money.
On a tangent, when nancyleandros and I were sniffing last week at Neiman-Marcus’s in the Houston Galleria, we both noticed the enormous presence Creed has there at their perfume counters. We also simultaneously remarked on how no one on here ever seems to discuss or even mention a Creed fragrance. Thoughts?
From where I sit, it is hard to see any time in the past 5+ years that gourmand has NOT been a trend.
Creed used to be HUGE on the Basenotes forums, don’t know if they still are but in general I would say the brand has a bigger following among men than women?
And also that they received some level of scorn for pretending they didn’t use perfumers from the big fragrance & flavor companies, and for claiming various (already dead) celebrities used their fragrances, but I don’t see that as a big factor since many brands do both of those things.
Creed has a huge presence on YouTube. They’re always being discussed over there.
I’ve never found Creed to be particular aspirational for its price positioning.
“Fragaria”? That surely doesn’t roll off the tongue. Not a single Creed in my collection, but this sounds promising. Despite the uninspired name.
Agree, not a great name.
I can only speak for myself, but I have always found Creed’s fragrances to be completely undistinguished and vastly overpriced.
