And to think, years ago I was happy with those pine tree air fresheners dangling from the rear view mirror. They were more affordable, for sure.
And they still are 🙂
I don’t own a car but I would happily use this as a parfum d’ambiance.
I don’t like the “new car” smell so unlikely I would use it anywhere, but who knows, maybe it is lovely.
I read somewhere that the ‘new car smell’ is chemicals off gassing from the plastic and vinyl interior and is toxic. It can sometimes leave a film on your car window when the car is closed up in hot weather. Anyway, years ago, I had a friend who would leave a box of Irish spring soap in the glove compartment, and when that off gassed, it left a very clean green smell.
That is a great idea! Cheap and cheerful. I used to put a dryer sheet under the seat. I quit using dryer sheets, but miss that in my car.
