Hmm…don’t people burn candles to *eradicate* food smells, especially fried?
Good point. Yes, I generally want the fried chicken scent out of my house after I make it, the few times I do.
At any rate, the only thing that I think of when I think of KFC and home is my dad’s story about how KFC’s chicken was consistently undercooked. My dad lives by himself, is not a cook, and loves fried chicken, so KFC used to be in his rotation but hasn’t been for a decade or more because of that.
I’m sure some candles are burned for that reason but doubt that’s what sells most of them.
