Luxury body care and fragrance line Une Nuit Nomade has launched Collection Légendes, with three unisex fragrances in Extrait de Parfum. Estrella de la Mañana, Jardins de Misfah and Silver Saffron were developed by perfumer Jérôme di Marino.
Estrella de la Mañana ~ "The mountainous coasts of Eastern Mexico blended into the warm, damp veil of late summer. In Veracruz, the daughter of King Tenitzi III, a devastating beauty nicknamed Estrella de la Mañana, was running through the plains. She met the gaze of a young boy with antlers - the Deer Prince. They exchanged only a few words but the magic of love was set in motion. When King Tentizi III learned of this romance, he became blind with rage. He sent his priests after them. The sky darkened. He decided that the souls of Morning Star and the Deer Prince would be sacrificed to calm the wrath of the Gods. Tears of their blood gave birth to a small shrub. The branches intertwined like lovers in their last embrace. Star-shaped flowers covered the entire tree. A few days later, many shoots rose out of the ground and the first strands of black vanilla swayed in the wind, whispering the fragrance of the missing lovers. ‘Estrella de la Mañana’ is a black vanilla pod, its heart cut and consumed in the burning hearth of a fireplace. The smoke of wood and black cocoa powder is married with the roundness of vanilla." Additional notes include birch and benzoin.
Jardins de Misfah ~ (see the Eau de Parfum version here.) "It was very early when she entered Misfah. The village awoke gently to the sound of water meandering wildly along thousands of irrigation canals, the falajs. With hands covered in unknown symbols, she gently touched the trees, buds, and young fruit. Nature began to rustle. Pomegranates, apricots, figs, and almonds ripened. Roses opened into a kaleidoscope of brilliant colors. The palm trees bent under the weight of their arrogant dates. As she passed, Misfah transformed into an extraordinary village. An open-air cornucopia, where each breath was an opportunity to discover a new scent. Jardins de Misfah Extrait is a reimagined Jardins of Misfah. In this smoother, deeper version, abundance does not mean excess. In the heart of a unique rose garden, the scent of dates, honey, and almonds whet both the appetite and the desire." Additional notes include davana.
Silver Saffron (not shown) ~ "Twilight had fallen. The horses neighed with fatigue. It was time to stop. The men saw a resting place; their bodies were exhausted and dusty. The shadow of the Kashmir mountains towered over the great plain with its low grasses. Emperor Alexander, helmet in hand, brandished his sword in front of the crowd. The moon slipped in and out of view, its face ablaze. It projected a silver hue onto the blade’s edge, illuminating the entire plain with a blinding ray. Early the next morning, the men could not believe their eyes. The ground was covered in a purple coat. Millions of saffron flowers had appeared over the course of one night. Faced with such a miracle, Emperor Alexander sought out his advisors. The signs were not favorable. Horns sounded the retreat. The men cleared the plain within a few hours. Peace and calm were restored. A boldly fruity statement of lychee and raspberry, it releases the full strength of the spicy and leathery facets of saffron and iris and the smoky intensity of papyrus." Additional notes include myrrh.
Une Nuit Nomade Estrella de la Mañana, Jardins de Misfah and Silver Saffron are €260 each for 100 ml Extrait de Parfum.

Wow, someone’s imagination was on overdrive in these “descriptions”!
Seriously.
I have a sample of Jardins De Misfah. It took me a while to understand it, to be honest. Even though it’s described as a date/almond/rose water fragrance (which eventually it is), the opening isn’t what you expect. It’s fresh, green, aromatic, somewhat like lavender cleaning soap. It’s interesting and contrasts with the other side of the perfume: syrupy dates with almonds and a light touch of rose. The base get a little too cloying for me as all I can detect is ethyl vanillin. I like this fragrance better in the cold weather but the bright fresh opening works in warmer weather too. All in all, it’s a very unique combination. And the best in the line.
Thanks for that description, I’m interested to hear more about these.
Thanks so much for the description! Is that the original EdP or the new Extrait?
Yeah, the sample I have is the original EdP. Not the new Extrait!
Thanks.
