British department store Liberty London has launched Hera Reigns and Ianthe Oud, two new additions to the LBTY fragrance collection.
Hera Reigns (above left) ~ "An ode to the majestic, this noble blend reveals an elegant pairing with ethereal jasmine enveloped in the evocative warmth of precious oud, while notes of sparkling pink pepper, gardenia and rich woods round off this spellbinding fragrance for a lingering allure. // “I wanted to create something noble and so the queen of flowers: Jasmin Sambac, is enveloped by her sophisticated partner of Oud Wood. Together they weave back and forth between noble elegance and brilliant naturality.” – Honorine Blanc, Perfumer" Additional notes include cypriol, olibanum and wood leather.
Ianthe Oud (above right) ~ "Expressing the prints' entwining wood and abstract florals, this irreverent oud scent reveals twinkling English violet blooms mingling with honeyed mimosa and patchouli, bringing warmth to the evening sky under a decadent canopy of cedar and agarwood – evoking the enchanting ambience of twilight. // “I wanted to create an unexpected pairing of something inherently English with something from a different part of the world. The iconic English Violet flower imparts an earthy green naturality and holds its own when contrasted with Oud wood which adds depth and together, they create a harmony of deep, leathery sensuality.” – Nicolas Bonneville, Perfumer" Additional notes include bergamot, myrrh, olibanum, guaiac and leather.
LBTY Hera Reigns and Ianthe Oud are available in 8 (£45) or 100 (£225) ml Eau de Parfum.

I so love their prints and the Ianthe Oud sounds good until patchouli is mentioned. I can only se it is very small even tiny doses. I wish samples were easier to come by 🙂
