This is a repeat of half-year poll we've done for the past few years. As always, answer as many or as few of the questions as you like, or just talk about something else.
1. What’s the best new scented thing you discovered in the first half of 2024? It can be anything, from a flower to a fragrance to a body product.
2. What new scented thing do you hope to discover in July?
3. Now that the year is about half over, what do you think is the best new fragrance release of 2024 so far?
4. Share something wonderful with us! It can be anything — good news you received recently, something delicious you ate, the latest TV series you binged — really, anything…

1. I’m a big fan of Mrs Meyers seasonal hand soaps, and recently I’ve been enjoying the Cucumber liquid hand soap which doesn’t smell like cucumbers to me at all (because I don’t like cucumbers) but smells like the cucumber flower from the vines it grows on.
2. Hmm, not sure. A new perfume that I can’t live without? Nothing has really wowed me in a long time.
3. Haven’t tried a lot of new releases but of those I have I’d have to go with Chanel Comete which I do really like. I don’t think it’s a love, maybe if it were half that price.
4. My barre studio is having a summer of sweat challenge and members have been divided into teams. It runs from June 15 to July 15 and I’m trying to go every day. So far I’ve done it, only 23 more days to go lol, wish me luck!🤞💪
Rain rain go away. It’s another rainy one here today. After my shower I think I’ll go with Chanel Deuville.
We had 6 inches in our rain gauge yesterday and 3 inches this morning so I can certainly agree with you on the rain going away. We have flooding all over, but it looks like sun is finally coming out.
Been nothing but steady rain up here too. It’s been way too wet of late.
It’s funny, I just went out for lunch and they had that soap in their bathroom. I liked it too and agree with you, it doesn’t smell like cucumber, which is a plus for me as well.
1. I’ve recently discovered the joys of the Almond range from L’Occitane. I got miniatures of the shower oil, milk concentrate and the hand cream, and a full bottle of the bath milk.
2. I’m open to whatever comes my way!
3. Habit Rouge Le Parfum.
Granted I haven’t tried many new releases, but I think this one is really well done.
4. I bagged a 1-litre white bee bottle for £10/12 €!
It originally contained Vol de Nuit (the batch code on the sticker indicates it’s from 2018). I checked the Guerlain website and they don’t even have the 1-litre bottle on offer online anymore, only up to 500 ml, so I’m glad I found it.
Great find!
Wow! I am trying to imagine a 1-liter bee bottle. It must be magnificent.
How cool!
Amazing find on that bee bottle!
Wearing what I consider the “Summer Shalimar” today, the MI version. About 6 sprays which is a lot for me but this is a very light weight version of the OG. On to the questions…
1. No surprise to anyone I’m sure, it the dragon candle by Glasshouse Fragrances. I loved everything about it- from the packaging to the scent. I wish I had bought a BUC!
2. I hope everything I sniff, If I get to sniff anything at all, is not that great simply because I don’t want to break open my piggy bank unless I have to. 🐖
3. Wouldn’t even hazard a guess since I’ve smelled nothing new in a long long time.
4. I still get a kick out of seeing the Yellow Warblers encourage and feed their youngsters as they were learning to fly. Such harassed but devoted parents, as are all parents I guess… 🙃
I really enjoyed Shalimar MI too. It fixed what I didn’t like about Parfum Initial, and is different enough from the standard EdP.
As you know MI is one of my favorites. I will be interested to see what Guerlain puts out this fall in Shalimar.
Me too!
Hello everyone!
I’ve been in kind of a knitting funk since finishing my tee, but I decided to make and Emotional Support Chicken (worth a Google, in my opinion) for a friend who loves chickens. She’s had a hard month so I’m hoping it’ll bring her some happiness. It’s pretty fun, and I’m already wondering who I can make another for.
1. Not new, but I finally went and repurchased some Indian ginger pickles, and have been finding excuses to add them to anything I cook. Be warned if you’re tempted, they’re pretty spicy.
2. I’m really curious to try the new J-Scent Profound series. The website isn’t offering samples, so I’m hoping they come to Luckyscent soon.
3. I don’t think I’ve smelled a whole lot of new stuff, but I am really enjoying my sample of Comete. I wish we were back in 2006, when the Exclusifs were 200ml for $200. 🙁
4. I volunteered to be an intern for a local university radio station, and am starting training tomorrow! Seems like a lot of fun; I look for new music the way some people shop, and I love to share it. The interview was really exciting, and since my summer classes are mostly online, it’ll be nice to be around people.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Do you follow MDK/Modern Daily Knitting? They had a thread this week on emotional support chickens (knitted version).
The radio gig sounds perfect!
I don’t, but the EMC have taken over my Instagram.
I’m really looking forward to starting!
Modern Daily Knitting is a great site!
It looks fun!
I have seen multiple KALs for the Emotional Support Chicken and they are all so cute. Also, apparently some are knitting bikini tops for theirs!
I guess not many other clothes will fit! I haven’t seen that yet though.
That’s great about the radio station job!
Thank you!
Great news about the radio station!
I googled Emotional Support Chicken…they look so adorable! There was a time when I thought I could crochet 🧶 and bought the equivalent of fool proof crochet kits – big fail; which tells me I should not even bother attempting to knit…
I googled too. They are cute.
Thank you!
I find crochet much harder, if I’m honest.
Where did you get the sample of Comete?
From a sales associate. I really like it but ouch!
OMG those Emotional Support Chickens are adorable! Why is nobody selling these on Etsy?
Aren’t they so sweet? Usually with patterns like this, they’re limited use. I couldn’t find their exact terms, but people probably couldn’t sell them out of a storefront.
I had to tell a friend of mine about the Emotional Support Chickens. She thought they were hilarious! 🐔
Spreading the joy!
No interesting answers to the poll questions, alas. I’ve been wearing things I already own and there’s nowhere in town to try most of the new scents that come down the pike, so I have no opinions on anything recent, unless you count Bath and Body Works body creams, which I bought a clutch of a couple of weeks ago during their semi-annual sale (which somehow is still going on). Fresh Amalfi Lemon is more sweet than fresh but it’s extremely nice, like lemon pie filling, Whipped Coconut Milkshake is very toasted-coconutty, and Coffee and Whiskey is just that, heavy on the coffee.
Today I’m wearing vintage Lauder for Men, a summer-green chypre that whacks you with honeyed oakmoss from the very start, just in case you had forgotten what category it falls into. I somehow had this in my collection for years and years before I discovered how great it is: I think the uninspired half-ounce spray bottle led me think it was not that interesting, but I can always admit when I’m wrong. (And I am that judgemental: I’ve refused in the past to even consider a scent if I thought the bottle was ugly.)
Ok, maybe I need some Fresh Amalfi Lemon.
1. What’s the best new scented thing you discovered in the first half of 2024?
I discovered dozens of new-to-me varieties of roses on our recent trip to Normandy and Brittany. My most favorite was “Jardin de Granville”, a very fragrant light pink rose that was chosen by Maison Dior to be planted throughout the garden of Christian Dior’s childhood home in Granville. Just lovely! Sadly, it isn’t available in the US as far as I can tell, at least not yet.
2. What new scented thing do you hope to discover in July?
Fragrant recipes! It is getting so hot and humid here that I can only be in my garden in the morning unti about 10 and in the evening after about 6. So I plan to try some new recipes.
3. Now that the year is about half over, what do you think is the best new fragrance release of 2024 so far?
I haven’t kept up with new releases because I’m trying to work on the many I already have. I’m intrigued by the new drop-shaped bottle for No. 5 L’Eau, though.
4. Share something wonderful with us!
Babies! My great-niece just turned 1, another niece of ours just had her first baby (and lives very close to us!), and the mom of the one-year-old has just gotten pregnant with #2, who will come in 2025. These are the first babies of that generation in our family, so it’s very exciting and fun. I’ll have to dust off my sewing machine so I can make some cute things for them.
How wonderful about new babies in your family!
Did you see the Netflix show about Christian Dior? I ask because his father had a marvelous rose garden (in the show) that his sister helped tend later on, and they did show some lovely pink roses. It must have been wonderful to visit and smell them there.
SOTD is Shalimar
The best new scented thing I discovered in the first half of 2024 is the enchanting fragrance of the lemon scented geranium blooming in my urban garden. Made each day start on a beautifully fragrant note.
Guerlain has always been one of my favorite fragrance houses, and I’m will explore any new releases they may have.
The best new fragrance release of 2024 so far, in my opinion, is “Guerlain Neroli Plein Sud.” But not enough to spring for a bottle
Something wonderful I experienced recently was attending the summer solstice celebration this morning at St. John the Divine. I was up at 3:30 am for the 4:30 service. The event was a profound spiritual awakening, filled with beautiful music from Paul Winter. I left me feeling deeply connected and rejuvenated.
I saw your picture from there and it looked incredible! Wow, lucky you!
Sounds absolutely fantastic! Totally worth getting up early for once a year. I have lemon geranium plants in my front yard and I agree that they smell marvelous. Sometimes I pull off a leaf and just rub it up and down my arms. That is where the oils are. They have a spicy clove scent that really sets off the geranium and lemon. I think geranium was more popular decades ago, especially for gentleman’s colognes. But I love it
My best new scented thing of the year is probably Orgasmo by Hilde Soriani. It is not either remarkable or original but it is simply the yummiest scent and was sort of my comfort scent during the hard times with my brother’s cancer and death. More recently I’ve been enjoying the Arquiste florals I’ve tried.
Anticipated scent to try: More Arquistes and especially Nanban. And maybe I will find something desert-related when I go to Santa Fe next month.
Best of 2024? No idea, I’m just not up on anything right now.
Exciting discovery: I stumbled onto the Korean crossover singing quartet Forestalla and have been quite smitten with their truly extraordinary vocals and performances. They have truly skilled, artistic singers, two trained professionally in opera, and they do an amazing array of songs, including quite beauties like Scarborough Fair and more rock-y songs like Ed Sheeran’s The Shape of You and Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance. They perform in several languages including some excellent Spanish songs like Hijo de la Luna (an extraordinary performance) and Despacito. Their range includes a deep deep bass and a guy who sings countertenor at higher levels than I can reach. It’s hard to pick a representative song because they’re all very different but this is the one that I stumbled onto and it’s quite amazing, so I encourage you to check them out. (They’re cute too, but these are not K-pop boys who do snazzy dances–these are true artists.). This is their version of Bad Romance by Lady Gaga. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKg7JdtPPaA
quiet not quite, ugh.
Yeah, the guy who sings bass is phenomenal. I listened to Bohemian Rhapsody, too, and the countertenor hit that high note.
The countertenor really shines on Hijo de la Luna. It’s so beautiful.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LJc7wXa9JG8#bottom-sheet
His voice is unearthly here. It gives me goosebumps.
Whoa! Forestalla have some chops. The bass man – I think I could listen to him reading the phone book, you know?
I do know, definitely. 🙂
lol!
It’s 94 F and I’m wearing Sur le Nil.
I don’t have any novel new scent experiences, unfortunately. I’ve recently got reinterested in trying fragrances, so I’ve been purchasing sample sets which has been fun.
The only 2024 release I’ve sprang for so far is Zoologist Rabbit. The hay note is very strong for me and very nostalgic growing up farming.
Something wonderful – I went to Maryland Sheep and Wool in early May and it was just nice to get away, see my wool friends and pet sheep for two days.
How interesting! I’ve never heard of an event like that. I do love visiting an alpaca farm when I go up to Michigan in the summer. You can pet their babies too.
Oh I love the smell of hay drying in the sun. Even more reason to try Rabbit!
I have not been interested in actively tracking or sniffing anything new in 2024 except for the bottle of Philtre that I blind bought, so that will be my best new scented thing and best new fragrance. I tried to find the new Zara fragrances at the mall, but they were not there. Wonderfulness is being retired, it’s coming up on 14 years in August and I am still not bored. Every day is an adventure.
SOTD is Mediterraneo, because it’s warm and sunny here and I need citrus!
Yay, that is a good retirement foxbins!
SOTD = Abaton Chinotto Gourmand EDP
I spied this in the living room and asked why not? Very nice, very nice indeed! 🤎 I have worn this several times before but it was especially good today!
https://www.instagram.com/p/C8hllc3xfJx/?igsh=NnJseWFwN3BrN2lq
I won’t be making a special trip to Wegmans to complain about what happened yesterday. My new mantra is to let go whatever you can – life will be that much more pleasant.
As to the poll, nothing newish had really triggered my interest other than the perfumes that either had a beautiful presentation (Lorenzo Pazzaglia Sun-Gria) or unusual packaging (the No.5 L’Eau egg). I had been bingeing on Doctor Blake Mysteries, so much so I paid extra for Season 5. It is NOT a new show and the series had ended a few years back, partially due to accusations against the actor playing the main character. By the way, this was supposed to be part of the BritBox subscription but I somehow got into an unpaid version save for the last season.
In the meantime, I am trying to stay cool inside my house although my phone temps show a drop to 75F after the thunderstorm!
I love those Dr. Blake shows!
I liked them too.
1. I love the new Orange Gelée from the folks at Vacation. It smells (and feels) almost exactly like the discontinued orange gelée from Bain de Soleil.
2. I hope to sample the new Chanel, “Comete.”
3. I don’t try as many new perfumes as I’d like, but I really love a recent release from Parfum D’Empire, “Un Bel Amour D’Été.”
4. Recently enjoyed a fabulous meal at one of my favorite LA restaurants, Osteria Mozza. For dessert, I had their coffee gelato, and it really was coffee-ish: rich, bitter, and creamy. Good lord, it was amazing, and I could have eaten a gallon of it.
Today I’m wearing Mukhalat Malaki, an oil-based perfume from Swiss Arabian. I would never have known of it if not for Persolaise’s channel on YouTube. A few years ago, he listed his personal top ten fragrances to wear, and this made his list. It’s a dark, Arabian leather/rose/oud fragrance, and he described it as “Instant Dubai.” I’ve not been to the Middle East, but the perfume sure works in hot and sunny Southern California.
I was thinking the same thing for your #2. I would love to be able to get a sample, but I don’t know anywhere that would carry it.
Jealous of your coffee gelato!
One of my favorite restaurants too, Daniel. And I will have to sample that Swiss Arabian perfume. It sounds great.
I’ve loved everything on their menu, but their pastas and desserts are out of this world.😊
(And the Swiss Arabian is intoxicating.)
You Enabler You!😋
Never had coffee gelato before.
Interpreting this as new to me, my latest discovery is Ungaro’s Diva. It came out in 1983, so I’m only 41 years behind 🙂
New to me this spring, as well! It’s SO good.
The original Ungaro Ungaro in the cobalt blue bottle is also amazing. It is a gigantic symphonic woods, floral musky thing from the 80s, but sometimes it is just perfect for my inner shoulder pads.
I’m in a combination of Rocabar (spritzed for a haircut appointment earlier) and 4711 Mandarine and Coriander (added subsequently because it’s hot today and I keep my 4711s in the fridge). Mr. G and I are going to try to put our new barbecue together in a bit and that will probably not be fun — we are both kind of bossy know-it-alls when it comes to assembling things. 😅
Oops — cardamom, not coriander.
Ha, is it all put together now??
No, somehow it got postponed. We set up and baited two rabbit traps instead (not to worry, they’re trap-and-release). We used some old carrots as bait, and put little dishes of water in the traps as well in case we caught one early so he or she wouldn’t get all dehydrated being stuck in a wire cage all night. As far as I can tell, we caught nothing last night.
Good luck! Apples (cut) usually worked well for us too, in case the carrots aren’t tempting enough.
I like how you own that you are a bossy know at all. I’ve been accused of that myself and usually protest, thus cementing my status as a bossy know it all
🤣🤣
Is the new barbeque done now?
No — still in the box, on the hand truck, waiting by the back door. I refuse to do it by myself, so it’s going to sit there until Mr. G finally gets tired of looking at it. Or until we sell the house and move — no prediction on which will come first! 😂
1. while in Paris I discovered Officine Universelle Buly and their body oils. I got the Rose one and it’s amazingly good.
2. I would like to sample The Merchant of Venice Moscado.
3. I felt in love with Meo Fusciuni viole nere, thank you cazaubon for the recommendation.
4. I am enjoying summer, my favourite season!!
Glad you enjoyed Viole Nere!
1. The best new scented thing I found the first half of 2024 was probably Leather Jardin by Zara. I also really like Fleur de Patchouli by Zara as well so I thought I would wear that today.
2. I would love to try Chanel Comete, but not sure where I could get a sample.
3. Hmm. Not sure on that one.
4. Good news! The sun finally came out this afternoon after days of rain.
And my best news today is we finally got some rain after days of heat!
Glad to hear that you are drying out!
Sure could use some of that rain here. It’s been way too dry lately.
I had a lovely catch up with Kanuka this morning. We talked about all sorts of things besides perfume. I have Kanuka a few samples and she gave me several bottles she wanted to assist on – that’s so kind and generous, I’m really looking forward to trying those.
Oh nice, so glad you guys had a good visit.
Sunday. I didn’t get to the poll yesterday.
The best thing I’ve smelled is probably Montale Intense Cafe, I have a decant on the way.
I want to sample Zoologist Rabbit and Penguin, and the arctic one from Imaginary Authors.
I don’t think I’ve smelled anything from this year yet.
I had such a great time visiting my daughter. We watched old movies and ate Halo Top and laughed and laughed. I’m wearing Coco Mad Intense in her honor – regular Coco Mad is her signature scent.
Aww, I love your number four! Those kinds of visits are the best.☺️
Hello! I’ve been out camping and on a social media break, but all is well. :-). It’s hot and steamy here in Montréal. I’m wearing Maison Violet Pourpre d’Automne out of season. Really lovely scent.
Glad all is well cazaubon! I’ve noticed your absence. Enjoy camping! And as my mom would always warn my kids, “watch for ticks!”
Hello dear friend!! Looks like we both popped in at the same time
Hope you have enjoyed camping, stay cool!
Hope you had a wonderful time. A complete break is needed sometimes.
Hi cazaubon!
Hello Hello!
Hope you are having a wonderful Summer!
Welcome back !
Good to see you and I love Pourpre d’Automne in any season!
Hiya cazaubon! Good to hear from you!
85F at 10am this morning. We will surely top 90F this afternoon. Just showered without even turning on the hot water heater and slathered Shalimar Body Crème straight out of the fridge after stepping out. Didn’t even dry off because I didn’t want to work up a sweat. 😅
If it’s hotter than this where you are, which I know many places are, please make sure to take it easy, drink plenty of fluids, and if you’re a die hard worker-outer, maybe just have a day of rest or do some gentle stretches.
We had some vicious storms kick up the other afternoon and I had to run from the office to my rig to close the windows and the wind was like a tornado, with the noise of freight train. I don’t think they actually have tornadoes here, but my experience of 16 years in Illinois made my alarm bell ring. 🌪️
We finally got a cool down here.
Glad you were safe from the storm!
Tornadoes can happen west of the Continental Divide, so being wary is A Good Thing!
Y’all can blame lillyjo for me popping in to let you know that I’m still alive (if anyone cares 😆).
I haven’t tried anything new, not sure what is new, nothing I’m interested in seeing being released. I’m just enjoying what I have.
I’ve been binging on The Chosen. And other great news is all three mini marzipans are doing amazing in their chosen careers and middle one is starting graduate school in September. And my three furry feline grandchildren are still with me. . And three year countdown to retirement 😂. Hope everyone is doing well
Nice to see you 😊
Nice to see you, cm8! Glad everything is going well.
I will gladly take the blame!
3 more years! It’s exciting!
So glad to see you and so glad all is well!
Hiya, CM8! Happy to hear that things are going well for you.
Best new thing to smell: I did get a few gardenia blooms this year, after not getting ANY for several years. I haven’t figured out the pattern for why this year was different, maybe a milder winter
Looking forward to smelling: I have a sample pack coming. I am trying to put myself on a moratorium for purchases for 2024 but I am finding myself curious about iris scents. For 2025, perhaps.
Best new release for 2024: I don’t have a good answer. I seem to be 1-2 years behind in discovering perfumes, which is fine, since I find plenty of perfumes to purchase as it is.
Something wonderful: we got rain last week and a reprieve from the very hot weather. I got to sleep in, had my first day off in almost 3 weeks.
Trying out my Zara purchases this weekend. (Vetiverich) is my favorite of the two bottles I got. I get the vetiver but it also has a fruity pear note that is a good contrast. I am glad I got it. (Flower Please) the other bottle is a subtle floral aldehyde, very subtle and a bit more masculine. I don’t dislike it but just not going to be picked out for wearing much in my collection since I have so many better options. I did like (Flower Please) better as it dried down. I bought both unsniffed. If only Zara would have proper testers. The expense is minimal but I dislike accumulating bottles I won’t use.
Interesting about your gardenias because I just found out there is a variety I can leave in the ground all winter here in SE PA, which I had not known. Thinking I might try planting a bush next year.
I have a perfume question. Has anyone tried Perles de Lalique? It’s a chypre that my French perfumista friend says is a must-have for fans of chypre, and that it is a good, reliable scent for everyday. I would like to hear your thoughts!
I’ve been tempted to blind buy it, but I heard it can be quite peppery.
A blind buy is what I’m looking at too.
I have! My testing notes say that it is similar to the original Agent Provocateur EdP, but lighter in body. YMMV.
Oooh thanks Jalapeño! That sounds good. I really like the original AP but it wore me.
Fragrantica lists “cashmirwood” as one of the base notes, so if you are sensitive to modern woody notes that may be a red flag.
I’m back from my summer vacation, an early one this year. We traveled to some small towns in Germany to see many many old friends, and also had some big city fun in Berlin. I had wonderful time, but it was also very exhausting, partially due to several travel delays & cancellations. I’m now recovering from mild jet lag and only have a little laundry to do because our luggage did not make our extremely short layover. We barely made it!
I was oh so tempted to buy the new No 5 l’Eau at duty free, the bottle was oh so cute. Alas I resisted, I have more than enough No 5 with my Eau Premiere and parfum versions. I didn’t get a chance to do much perfume shopping, and it was generally a low-scented vacay since we were staying with friends for a lot of the trip. It was so interesting to smell so many perfumes “in the wild” though. Very different from my daily life. So much oud in Berlin, and my other observation is that teen girls everywhere seem to smell the same, ha!
Welcome back!
What a great-sounding adventure, though I’m sorry your bags are delayed.
I know exactly how you feel about the No 5 bottle. If it were any other concentration I’d be so much more tempted….
Welcome back! Hope that your wayward luggage shows up soon.
Hello!
1. What’s the best new scented thing you discovered in the first half of 2024? Guerlain Tobacco Honey
2. What new scented thing do you hope to discover in July? Cartier Pur Lilas
3. Now that the year is about half over, what do you think is the best new fragrance release of 2024 so far? Not sure
4. Share something wonderful with us! One of my favorite bands added some shows and I got tickets:).
Wearing 8 sprays of Amoauge Memoir Woman in 104f..one could say, the spices really lift off the skin in this weather lol. I wanted to wear it though, when the craving hits lol.
What band?
Bootblacks:).
SOTD = ånd Påtch
Newest of the new in my collection! I almost want to go to the UK to visit the store and buy one of each perfume in the range. Is this wrong? 🤔
https://www.instagram.com/p/C8m5hJsxSrz/?igsh=aTVjaWw1OW54MHc3
Speaking of traveling, I am pretty sure I am done for year. By the way, as far as masking is concerned, less than 1% of the people traveling wore masks, and that population included me. For those who are yet to travel by plane, here are tips from experts when turbulence hits (just the headlines):
1. Never stand up (i.e. resist the urge to fight or flight)
2. Don’t take your seatbelt off
3. Don’t rush out of the bathroom
4. Don’t open the overhead bins
5. Don’t leave your tray table down
6. Try not to panic
How many of those ånd perfumes do you have now? I can think of at least 3.
Yep: frank, bean and patch!
They are sure cool looking bottles.
They are although not sure how the small pops of color are from sustainable materials.
1. Lilacs in bloom in the parking lot of my apartment complex! It took me a while to find them, but I enjoyed their scent wafting on the breeze back in May.
2. New scented thing? I would *love* it if Korres would bring back some of my favorite shower gels! Or if LUSH would bring back Flying Fox shower gel.
3. Would have to be either Zara’s Leather Jardin or Fleur de Patchouli. But the Fleur de Patchouli has been released before, so maybe it doesn’t count?
4. I made it to the hot air balloon festival on Saturday morning after all! (The weather was wonderfully cool in those early morning hours.) They started launching at 6am. I arrived there a little later than that. A few of the balloons went directly over me! Got plenty of pictures. And there is another festival a couple of towns over next month…
SOTD = commando, except for Dame Perfumery Orange Flower body butter on my shins. Too darn hot for any perfume today (99 degrees F, according to my laptop).
Funny. I put your #3 as my #1 since I didn’t know for sure when they were launched.
Those balloon festivals are so neat. I have never been to one, but I know they have them in Albuquerque too. I used to travel there for work years ago and was always hopeful that it would be on when I was down there, but unfortunately that was never the case.
Yeah, New Mexico is famous for their balloon festivals.
Still thinking about one more Zara perfume. But I don’t want any purchases getting cooked in the summer heat. Might have to wait until fall and cooler temps.
I’m glad you went and had fun!
Thanks lillyjo!
Sounded like you had fun! I went to an agri fair once and got on one of the balloons although they were all tethered so we were only able to go so far up!
Happy Monday!
1. Roberto Greco Rauque has been the fragrant gift that keeps on giving (I gave it to myself after a Persolaise review😋) and a friend muled me a couple of bottles of CdG Daphne from London. I’m also really enjoying Olivia Giacobetti’s Popeline Blanche for the summery orange blossom vibe.
2. Hiram Green Tryst…more Orange Blossom!
3. Not sure but hoping Tryst is!
4. A friend and I scored a pass to a local music festival and we’re seeing St. Vincent, who we both love. If you haven’t seen her music video with David Byrne, it’s mesmerizing.
