Demeter Grass is pretty summery! Not the accurate representation of a freshly mown lawn I’d hoped for, but still nice and green.
We’re in the middle of a heat wave: going up to 34°C in a couple hours, humidex of 43°, and tomorrow it’ll be worse, thunderstorms and a humidex of 46°. Thank goodness for air conditioning.
Dagnabbit I put the wrong thing in the wrong place. What I MEANT to say was that perfumed fans used to be a thing and maybe they should be again: wouldn’t this be nice wafting a breath of lilac or vetiver while you cooled yourself off?
Yes!
And there are two other designs if you buy direct from Fable England:

A few weeks ago I was at a conference in an ultra-modern building with poor airflow. Two of us has had brought paper fans (sadly unscented, because it was one of *those* conferences) and the looks of admiration and envy-!
Nice! I don’t know why I don’t have one in my backpack at all times.
I do this! I scent my fans!
I have quite a collection and it’s a must for my handbag in the summer because it’s so hot.
This fan is also very lovely.
What fun to have a fan collection!
Thank you Robin, I have two fans, a Spanish one and a sandalwood one which has a scent.
A scented sandalwood fan sounds so luxurious!
Lovely, one can never have to many fans where I am from:)
Delighted by the people on here who are fans of fans, as it were. If anyone is visiting London, perhaps you would enjoy visiting this museum

A friend (with whom I have visited London every December, pandemic years excepted, since 1997) & I went to this museum many years ago & just loved it. Fans made from every material imaginable, including charcoal, which sticks in my memory! Highly recommended, & can’t believe it’s so inexpensive to visit all these years later.
Wow, I need to get a fan for my purse!
It will change your life during hot, summery days…
Yes, I totally see that!
Fable England has such cute stuff. I got my kids their bird and animal charm bracelets and necklaces, makeup bags, and hair scrunchies for Christmas and also treated myself to a woodland animals scarf. Not sure I really ~need a fan, but headed over to Beautyhabit right now anyway 🙂
I have carried a hand fan in my purse for years but now that I’m through with menopause, I’ve turned into a chilly old lady, so the fans have been removed. Love the idea of a scented fan.
