Givenchy has launched Coeur Fou, a new addition to La Collection Particulière.
Wildly passionate, Cœur Fou wanders excitedly around the Art Gallery in the Hôtel Particulier. Electrified by its devoted effect, the Hôtel Particulier is infused with its impetuous and instinctive energy, tendering a spontaneous invitation to follow your heart.
The Damascena Rose, the most iconic of all flowers, is at the heart of this creation. Expressed in three exceptional qualities, the Essence, Infusion and Absolute, the Rose inflames the trail of this floral, fresh and fruity Eau de Parfum, while inciting thrilling addiction.
Spiked with Absolute of Blackcurrant Buds from France and surprised by the Essence of Grand Vert Basil, this floral note is imbued with a burst of intoxicating freshness. Its vibrant trail is prolonged by the warm and delicious tones of woody Moss and Patchouli adding depth and texture to the composition. A perfume with a strong personality, hovering between freshness and sensuality.
Givenchy Coeur Fou is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

This sounds good. I wonder how potent the basil is though. I want a powerful rose.
The basil was the part that sounded good to me, I guess because there are so many rose & blackcurrant scents already.
Oh my goodness, what a vocabulary: “Imbued, infused, electrified, spiked, surprised, inflamed, incited, thrilled, intoxicated, and prolonged….are we talking about PERFUME here or SOMETHING ELSE, hmmm??? What might that be?
cocktails?
Seems like a missed opportunity to creatively connect Coeur Fou to Corfu. But I just finished watching the Durrells in Corfu so maybe it is just on my brain.
🙂
This sounds promising.
