French fashion and luxury house Celine has launched Cologne Céleste, a new unisex fragrance paying tribute to traditional Eau de Cologne and bath rituals.
"I created the Eau de Cologne Céleste and its line for the intimate and comforting ritual of bathing. This is an essential gesture that systematically plunges me back into the gentle and soothing atmosphere of childhood." — Hedi Slimane
Neroli and its slightly sugary, rounded and tender notes weaves the composition’s backdrop. The musky notes of ambrette prolong its comforting softness, while the powdery veil of orris adds the refinement and muted signature of Celine Haute Parfumerie.
Additional notes include angelica, sweet lemon and petitgrain.
Celine Cologne Céleste is $315 for 250 ml. Also in the collection: body oil, bath milk and perfumed soap.

One of my friends said that is smelled like a general cologne with lots of dried flowers. It is lovely but not one you would run out to buy. I, myself, is tempted by the soap and lotion. None of it is available online yet, so I can’t see the prices except for the cologne.
The soaps are very tempting…
I just saw that the soaps are $105 for a package of 3 and the oil is $195
Giggling here.
curious that Celine doesn’t release perfumer names — the copy makes it sound like Hedi Slimane is the perfumer, but we know that’s not true.
Guessing most consumers (still) don’t care.
“Also in the collection: body oil, both milk and perfumed soap.”
Bath milk or body milk?
Thank you for noticing my typo…it is (foaming) bath milk!
