This year's holiday collection at Cire Trudon is "Astral", featuring four fragrances: Altaïr (silver; "marries the strength of oud with the delicateness of rose"); Fir (blue; "Hints of myrrh and incense absolute bring depth to the perfume’s head notes - Siberian pine and fir tree"); Gabriel (green; "With notes of leather, cashmere wood, and candied chestnuts, the fragrance weaves happy, cozy memories") and Gloria (red; "warms the room with the scent of firewood – composed of notes of Indonesian Patchouli, Haitian Vetiver and cedarwood. Wrapped around it are spicy notes of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, and a hint of citruses"). In 3 sizes, 270g ($148), 800g ($360) and 2.8kg ($750). There's also a brass candle topper (shown above) for $105 and a taper scented with Gabriel for $55.

I got Fir and Gloria last time, both very nice. Wish they would bring back Bayonne, the spicy cocoa one, that was my favorite.
That one really sounded nice. And more holiday-ish than rose + oud.
These do sound nice! Adorable hubby is not a fan of candles, oh well. I am thinking of going with Zum Frankincense and Myrrh counter cleaner for a little holiday cheer.. Or something with bayberry but that doesn’t seem to be on anyone’s radar at this point.
Plus, cheaper!
Yes, another positive point!
A 2.8 kg candle? What is that, about a year’s worth of burning time?
I guess it you could just *keep* it lit 24/7?
