Update: the description from DS & Durga...
I love tennis. So do you. There’s nothing like getting on the court to crush balls. Tennis is a whole culture that moves globally. I could see how one could get lost in it. Letting the schedule of tennis rule their life. I admire the dedication. All for hitting the perfect ball over the net with a racquet. -D.S.
Additional notes include yellow fuzz, sporty accord and hard court.
I can type now I’ve stopped laughing! Having been a tennis fan since I was a child (my late parents met on a blind date at a tennis club arranged by friends when my father was in his last year at secondary school & my mother was in her first year at university) & given the family history I’ve just mentioned, I wouldn’t mind having a sniff of this – will look out for it when we’re visiting friends in Texas at the beginning of September (or indeed when I’m in London in December)..
Don’t forget Demeter Fuzzy Balls!

Had to look that one up, Robin, but had a chuckle at the info, so thank you. Unfortunately Demeter not really a thing generally in the UK, & certainly not in the north east of Scotland! When we’re with our friends in Oak Ridge North, Texas next month (haven’t seen them since 2019 thanks to the pandemic) I will seek out a nearby stockist.
*looking over the tops of my glasses at the name of this fragrance*
Quite so.
“Things you don’t want to have to say out loud in a conference room when asked what fragrance you’re wearing.”
Maybe TF is gnashing his teeth for missing this one…
Ha!
Lol!
Did their press release really say “rosemarin”? I suppose “rosemary” is too pedestrian for such a brand, even though it’s based in an English-speaking country.
Someone should tell them that’s not a word in any language except maybe Norman. “Romarin” in French and “rosmarin” in a few other languages.
I guess I’m (still) tired of poncey marketing copy, as well as $280/50ml price tags.
The source is Women’s Wear Daily, so no idea!
Maybe it’s a novel rosy-marine note we have not heard of as yet?🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
$280 for 50 ml of EDP??????? LMAO because right now I am thoroughly enjoying Fresh White Musk which can be bought at my local Walmart for 2.99 for 100ml. Waiting in the wings is LTPiver’s Heliotrope Blanc, 14.25 oz for $23
