Kenzo will launch Flower Ikebana By Kenzo, a new flanker to 2000's Flower fragrance for women.
FLOWER IKEBANA BY KENZO pays tribute to Kenzo Takada's love for flowers and art de vivre. Flower Ikebana, a floral woody fragrance for women, is composed like an ikebana, inspired by the Japanese art of flower arrangement, with a balance resting on three notes: Sobacha Tea, Sakura blossom enhanced by Indian Tuberose absolute, and Australian Sandalwood essence.
Flower Ikebana By Kenzo will be available in 40 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

Update: a longer description from Dubai Duty Free...
FLOWER IKEBANA BY KENZO pays tribute to Kenzo Takada's love for flowers and art de vivre. This Eau de Parfum for women lies at the crossroads of two aesthetics: floral composition and olfactory creativity.
Together, perfumer Alexandra Monet and master perfumer Alberto Morillas have written this new scented chapter in the story of Flower. Flower Ikebana, a floral woody fragrance for women, is composed like an ikebana, inspired by the Japanese art of flower arrangement, with a balance resting on three notes: Sobacha Tea with its roasted accents, delicate Sakura blossom enhanced by Indian Tuberose absolute, and the precious warmth of Australian Sandalwood essence.
Additional notes include cedar and vetiver.
I feel like someone should have come up with this as a flank idea a long time ago!
I know, really!
Thank you Robin, I didn’t care for the previous Flower flanker which was called l’Absolu I think, it had lost all the characteristics that make me like the original Flower, so I don’t have high hopes for this one but I’ll still try anything from Kenzo.
Plus, pretty bottle 🙂
Oh yes, that too😀
I like this bottle better than the original. Very pretty!
The design is a perfect fit with the shape.
I liked the original Kenzo in the poppy bottle ok. The notes in this flanker sound promising – could be lovely, or turn out to be a scratchy mess to my randomly judgmental nose. The bottle is a wonderfully balanced design, isn’t it? I will look for a sample.
So, old news, but this is funny. The link to find this new flanker is the Frankfurt airport duty free shop. I clicked the link, all in German, but I have the vestiges of High School German stuck in my head , so I could navigate a bit. I clicked on Marken, guessing that this might be Brands. Sure enough a page came up with images of some popular brands. The title at the top of the page is “Top Marken”. This just struck me as very funny. Every language in the world is becoming a bastardized Lingua Franca, isn’t it?
Yes — and that is funny.
